Greninja's Return!

The group arrived to the Pokemon center nearby Kukui's house on Melemele.

Inside Nurse Joy escorted them to a medical room, where Greninja was unconscious.

"Greninja." Ash said seeing I'm his partner again after so long. A tear almost fell form his eye, wishing it could've been under better circumstances.

"What exactly is wrong with it Nurse Joy?" Lillie asked.

"I'm not sure. I've tried everything I can. Clemont and Bonnie have been trying different berry combinations but nothing has worked yet. Honestly we aren't sure what's wrong with it." Nurse Joy explained.

"That's odd. It's unusual for a Pokemon to be like this. In an unconscious state for so long. Berry's or Awakenings should've woken him up." Gary mumbled.

"Ugh." Will said holding his head almost losing his balance.

"Will?" His friends said in panic.

"Get back! All of you!" He yelled.

"What's going on Will?!" Bonnie asked.

"It's dangerous that's what." Will expalined.

"What? Greninja is my Pokemon! He wouldn't hurt us." Ash said in anger towards Will.

"If it's what I think it is your partner isn't in there anymore. At least he won't be soon enough." Will said gloomy.

"What do you mean?" Clemont asked.

"I've seen an energy like this before. It's bad news. Greninja is emitting a lot of it. I think it may be corrupted. By what is the question." He said pondering.

"Wait. An energy keeping him asleep? You don't think.." Serena said trailing off looking to Ash and Clemont.

"That sounds all to similar to Chespie." Clemont said agreeing.

"Chespie?" Lillie asked.

"Back in Kalos. A bunch of bad people infused our friends Chespin with Mega Evolution Energy. It left it asleep for a long time. It's nothing good for sure." Ash explained to his friends.

"Mega Evolution Energy? But if that's the case that would mean..." Will mumbled connecting dots in his mind, staring at his Key Stone.

"How can we help Greninja then?" Serena asked.

"Well, you woke up Chespie didn't you? Perhaps we could do the same for Greninja." Gary suggested.

"To wake up Chespie we had to destory a lot of the energy. But that took a lot of help we simply don't have here." Clemont mumbled trying to think.

"What if I could get Greninja out?" Ash asked.

"What do you mean?" Lillie asked in return.

"Will said the energy would be trapping Greninja inside it's own body. Maybe I can get Greninja out of it. We are connected after all." Ash explained.
