Pic to the right is Alex Pettyfer who is Purrrrrr-fect for Al. *wiping away the drool from near my mouth* He’s gorgeous isn’t he? *sigh* So much hotness. There’s no author’s note at the end of this so… Yeah, I don’t think I have a point. :P

[Cass’s P.O.V]

The weekend passed by without incident and by Sunday night, my wrist was fine. The cuts on my knuckles were mostly healed so I removed the dressing. There would be scars but I didn't actually care.

Monday morning I was woken up for school from my hour long nap by Chase. I’d woken up at 1 30 a.m. this time and went running after which I showered and took a nap.

In biology, Ms. Grey announced to the class that only our own blood would be sent for analysis and we’d use her blood work as an example while learning. I thanked her later for changing her original plan for me.

In English - Well, there was a fair bit of excitement.

“Everybody ready?!” Joey seemed very excited. I groaned and Dean leaned towards me, “Come on, I’m not that bad.”

I scowled at him, “True. You’re worse.”

Joey walked up to our table, “Who wants to pick a chit out of my lovely hat first?” He emphasized the “Lovely”.

It was one of those old-timey bonnets. It was a hideous shade of bubble gum pink and very flowery.

Joey decided to forgo the normal essay style projects and thought up a new one. We had to pick a chit each and write a few lines of a song that reflected the word or our view of it. Then, we had to switch the words with our partner and do it again but we couldn’t use the same song. We had to discuss with each other why we picked that song and its particular lines. It was meant to be a ‘get to know each other on a deeper level’ project. Then we had to read each other’s out loud in front of the class in a week’s time.

I smirked at Dean, “Ladies first.” He glared at me but picked one out anyways, looked at it then smirked back at me. Oh crap, he’ll write something horrible and I’d have to read it out loud.

“Joey?” I asked the teacher.

“Yup?”

“You think Bolton here could borrow that bonnet? I think he’d look pretty in it and he’s been lusting after it since you brought it out.”

I may have exaggerated just a tad. It’s true he’s been looking at it. But he’d been looking at it the same way I had – Like it was something moldy and green sitting on my bed…

Anyone would. It was pink and flowery, not to mention ugly as fuck.

The people close enough to hear me chuckled while Dean just glowered at me, “I’m all good.”

Joey decided to play along and with his eyes glinting he turned to some guy in class, “Hey Travis?”

“Yeah?” The blonde guy turned around.

“Mind if I borrowed that for a while?” Joey pointed to the baseball cap on said guy’s head. He shrugged and took it off tossing it to Joey who took all the remaining chits out of the bonnet and put it into the baseball cap.

Then he smacked the bonnet onto Dean’s head and grinning said, “Pretty Dean! Hey Cass, you were right!”

We all burst out laughing except for Dean who practically had smoke coming out of his ears. He tried to take it off but I smacked his hand away while Joey yelled, “No!! You wanted it and now you have it. Keep it on for the rest of the class!”
