Partner Up

“Hanna what can you tell me about Michael?” Gwen asked me from the bathroom.

“Um he’s nice, funny, and a gamer. Why?” I replied from my bed.

She got out of the bathroom and plopped down on her bed. “Because he’s going to pick me up from school today.”

“Really?” I exclaimed. “Luke is picking me up from school also.” I laughed.

“Then this was planned.” She giggled. “I’ll be right back with our pop tarts.” She said getting out.

Saturday was a fail when we all fell asleep halfway through the movie. I fell asleep on Luke and when I woke up everyone else was asleep. The movie was over when I woke up so I went over to Calums music and blasted Panic! At The Disco.

“What the fuck!” Calum screamed.

“Mommy I want cookies!” Michael yelled falling off of the bean bag.

“Hanna.” Luke groaned.

“Yes?” I played innocently.

“Why did you do that?” Liv asked.

“I didn’t know how to wake you up.” I laughed.

“Looks like someone didn’t wake up though.” Gwen pointed to Ashton.

“He’s a heavy sleeper.” Michael pointed out the obvious. “Be right back!” Michael got up and ran up the stairs.

“Weird one he is.” Luke laughed. He got up and sat me down in his lap. He gave me a kiss in my hair and nuzzled his head in my back. “You smell good.” He whispered sending shivers down my spine.

“I’m back.” Michael announced. He had a clear glass cup with ice cubes.

“Michael.” Liv warned him. But it was too late the cubes were in his shirt.

“What the actual fuck!” Ashton screamed. His accent was very clear. We were busy doubling over in laughter to notice Ashton left and came back with a nerf gun.

“Here’s a your pop tart.” She handed me two and kept the others for herself.

“Thanks.” I mumbled. She nodded and went over to her bed. “So how did you like them?”

She took a bite and nodded. “I like them alot. They’re funny.”

“Are you sure you don’t just think they’re funny?” I questioned. “Because they’re all pretty cute.” I winked at her. Her cheeks turned into a pink color.

I laughed at her reaction. “Stop it.” She covered her face with her pillow. I laughed some more and got up.

“Lets go or we’ll be late.” I said getting my bag. She nodded and also got up. I followed her out the door and into her car. I jumped into the passenger seat and we headed to school.

“Well this is my stop.” I said looking over to Luke.

“I had a good time tonight.” He smiled at me.

“I did too.” I smiled back

“Even if you fell asleep?” He laughed.

“Even If I fell asleep.” I giggled.

The laughter died down a couple seconds later and Luke looked at me with all seriousness. “I um can I um uhh” He muttered.

“Yes?
