*Kylie's POV*

"Rebecca!?" I shouted. As I stood there, I couldn't believe it was her. Like, out of all people, why Rebecca? "This can't be happening Austin." I said to him while rubbing my temples.

"I can't believe it either... Lets get out of here and call Lexi or someone." Austin said and I nodded.

As we walked back to the waiting room at the hospital, my mother was there, sitting on a chair. Shit.

"Kylie!" She said, as mad as ever. "Can you explain to me this mess!?" 

"Katherine, this is all my fault-" Austin tries to explain.

"Don't you even dare to call me Katherine, you're definetely the one making my daughter behave this way!" She snaps at him.

"Mom!" I look at her. She can't talk to him like that, I won't let her.

"You shut up Kylie, do you think I'm stupid? No. I know you've been lying to me, you did not stay at Alexis' house, you weren't sick, you skipped school to be with Austin. Don't you think i'd figure that out some day?" My mother looks at me.

Now I feel bad... I shouldn't have done all those things without permission, but the problem is... she wouldn't have let me. I'm the stupid one here, what am I even thinking? This is all fucked up.

"Kylie, I'm your mother and I deserve respect. How am I going to trust you now?" She kept going on. "I know you're a teenager, believe me, I went through that already, I know how it is, I made plenty of mistakes, but this? This is unacceptable." She shakes her head while nodding towards the room in which Rebecca was in. 

"It was all an accident mom! I couldn't stop that from happening!" I tell her.

"Mrs. Carter it's all my fault." He repeats looking down. 

"That's why Kylie, you're grounded. Come on, lets go to the car." My mom says and stands up. Austin looks at me all concerned and my heart shatters to pieces. She can't be for real.

"Mom you're taking this too far, too far." I tell her.

"You took this too far yourself young lady." She starts to get mad on a whole other level. She grabs me by my wrist and starts taking me to the door. Luckily I set free. 

"Mom, can you at least hear me out?" I beg. 

"Kylie, I said, let's go." my mom growled. 

"Mrs. Carter please, let me explain." Austin tries again. 

"There's not much explaining, don't you think? Everything is pretty clear to me!" My mom replied while raising her hands in the air.

"But-" I began. 

"Enough!" My mom exclaimed. Making everyone in the emergency room turn around to look at us. "Kylie. Let's. Go. Now." She mumbled angrily. 

I sighed in defeat and pecked Austin's lips. Wrong move.

"I said now." 

*Austin's POV*
