The skeleton dream

I dreamt very strangely last night, yes , really quite peculiar:

"Amy"
A voice kept calling out to me. I turned and turned, but could not find anything or anyone around me.
All I can see is darkness.

A gloomy forest comes into view.
I walked alone, no shimmer of light shone through the trees.
Surrounded by pointy black branches.
The trees were utterly bald, still crumpled leaves kept falling from the sky.

Something grabbed my arm.
It felt like a claw.
I turned to see a skeleton holding my arm tightly between his finger bones.
"Hello." I greeted the skeleton.
He kept quiet.
Perhaps he cannot speak? I didn't think skeletons could speak.

The skeleton looked at me, or at least I thought he was for he doesn't have any actual eyes.
I looked around my bleak surroundings.
Maybe he's lost, just like me.

"Are you lost, mister Skeleton?"
The skeleton let go of my arm and looked down.
He showed a somewhat sad and lonely expression.

My eyes fell to the skeleton's empty ribcage.
"Don't you have a heart?"
This seemed to struck him, if he had eyes, I'm sure he would be crying.

I remembered the beating I felt in my pocket earlier.
I reached inside my pocket and pulled out the heart that was kept there.

I held out the heart to mister Skeleton.
"It isn't a very big heart, but a heart nonetheless, Here you go."
I held the heart close to his ribcage, and his bones began to glow.
His ribcage was filled with a beating heart.
The skeleton smiled proudly and skipped away, turning back once to wave at me.
Leaving me all alone in this darkness, once again.

"Poor Amy, not a very bright girl. Giving your heart away to a skeleton."
"Don't you see? Soon you'll turn into a skeleton yourself, you might need that heart back, Dear."

Ana and Mia spoke to me, my darkness felt less dark as they led me into lightness.
