Chapter 10: I Wanted Him

Dylan’s POV

“Oh my god!!”

“She’s crazy!”

“You go girl!”

“Take your tops off!”

What? What the hell is going on? “Guys, what’s going on?” I asked, cocking my head to the side.

“No idea man, there’s some big commotion going on in the kitchen apparently,” Brendan answered, looking towards the doorway of the kitchen. The girl I had under my arm started to drift towards the doorway along with hundreds of other people.

“Nin-a! Ni-cole! Nin-a! Ni-cole!” People chanted crazily, their eyes glued to the scene unfolding. Jesus Christ, what was this girl doing?! The boys followed behind me as I shoved people out of my way.

“Move!” I shouted, throwing people to the side. I finally made it past the immense group of people to see Nina… Dancing on top of the counter… With Nicole… She was drunk! Nina Parris?? Drunk!? No way in hell! Boys were shouting sexist comments, even throwing dollar bills on the table.

“You have got to be kidding me!” I snarled, moving closer to the table. Her leather outfit hung tightly to her body and her hair was underneath some hat. For a drunk girl, she looked pretty decent; better than most girls I’ve ever been with. Her make up wasn’t smeared; her blood red lips popped out amongst the rest of her body, and she moved pretty good; just stumbling over her feet a few times, but other than that she was pretty good.

Ironically, the song “Slut Like You” by Pink played in the back ground as the lights went strobe, flicking on and off, on and off, only adding to the effect of the two girls dancing like no one was watching on the counter top. Nina’s arms were above her head, her lips moving with the words, circling over and over again. A countless number of boys surrounded them their jaws dropping, drool literally crawling down their chin. Ryder was nearest to the counter screaming his head off for the both to get down. Nina kicked his hand away and danced away with Nicole. She even picked up a few dollar bills that were resting on the counter and threw them over their heads. She laughed hysterically and I could not believe my eyes. Nina never liked drinking, let alone getting full on drunk.

“Take your tops off!!” A mob of boys screamed. Nina smiled menacingly and started to pull of her jacket. What the hell?! She was not goi-

She was taking off her top!! No way, I was not going to let this happen. My heart boomed out of my chest and my fists clenched. For some reason, I didn’t want any guy to see her like this. Was I jealous? No, I couldn’t be… she wasn’t even mine to begin with. But I was… I hated to admit it, but I was jealous just at the thought of another guy seeing her so exposed. I quickly pushed my way through the awaiting crowd and reached Ryder at the table. If any pictures are being taken, I’m going to break the person’s skull. I would not let her be humiliated over some stupid drunk mistake and let her be upset over it.

“Nina, Nicole! Stop what you’re doing!” Ryder growled, reaching up to grab Nicole since she was the closest. “Dylan! Help me!” He begged, jumping at her legs. She ignored him and kept twirling around the counter, before I looked over at Nina. Her jacket was on the floor and her tank top was rolled underneath her bra. She struggled to get it up and over and that’s when I lost it. My adrenaline kicked in and my whole body was shaking. I was not going to let her do that! I quickly hopped over the counter and landed on the other side closer to Nina. I grabbed at her ankle roughly before she could protest and dragged her down over my shoulder.

“Dylan!!” She squealed, smacking my back lightly. “You’re ruining the fun!” I picked up her jacket and noticed Nicole was no longer on the counter, but in Ryder’s arms bridal style. Emma and Emily rushed over to Ryder’s side and helped him carry her out.
