** back at Katniss and Peeta's house **
" How do you think Rose is doing?" Jace asked at dinner time. They were having roast beef and potatoes.
" She's doing just fine." Katniss replied.
" How do you know?" Jace grabbed the salt and sprinkled a few bits of it onto his potato.
" We taught her just right. The games don't start until tomorrow." Peeta chimed in. Katniss and Jace both nodded.
" She'll totally win. And after she does, we can all celebrate. And also give our prayers to Joanna." Katniss knew that Jack was Joanna's son and Joanna would be depressed if he didn't win. Besides, Joanna and Katniss are friends.
" Isn't Joanna the one next store? One of the people you competed against?" Jace finished his plate clean.
" Yeah. Her son, Jack, is in the games with Rose. Only one of them are coming out."
Jace went to the sink and washed his plate. He went straight to his room without a word. Katniss was super curious to see how Rose was doing.. Although they hadn't gone into the arena yet. The interviews were tomorrow though, so that made her feel a bit better.
