Chapter 24

Daniel's POV:

I wake up with the most beautiful boy in my arms. I lean down and kiss his neck. "Daniel, not now, I'm tired." He says and turns over cuddling into my chest. "We have to go and see my grandma." I say with a huff. "But Daniel she's a bitch." He states looking up at me.

"I know she is, but she'll hunt us down of we don't go." I say getting out of bed and going to the bathroom, brushing my teeth. "Fine, but only because you're cute!" He yells from the other room. I walk back out and lay in bed beside him. "When we get back, we can do whatever we want. I'll take you to dinner and then we can come back here for dessert." I whisper in his ear. "Ummm....o-ok." He says with a blush. "Now get up!" I yell jumping on the bed and Joey starts giggling.

We walk up to my grandma's door and knock on it. "Coming!" We hear a woman's voice echo through the house. I hold Joey's hand tightly, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Daniel boy!" My grandmother says pulling me inside. "Bunica, acest lucru este Joey, prietenul meu." (Grandma, this is Joey, my boyfriend.) She nods and shakes his hand. "Buna." (Hello) Jowy says and I raise an eyebrow.

She starts walking away, we follow. "Where did you learn that?" I ask. "It's called Google sweety." He says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and continue to follow grandma into the kitchen.

*after bc I'm lazy*

We walk out of my grandmother's with smiles on our faces. I guess she's came to terms with gays. She finally accepted me and apologized for everything she's ever said and done to me. Another good thing is that Joey and her got to know each other and apparently are getting their nails done.

"I'm glad she's changed." I say holding Joey's hand, walking down the sidewalk. "So what do you want to eat?" He asks and I shrug. "How about this one little restaurant called, LA Mama. It's so good!!" I say and he smiles and nods. We head off to the restaurant and are seated and start our orders.

"I really enjoyed today. Thank you so much." He says and I give him a quick kiss. "It's not over yet tho right?" He whispers in my ear. I swallow the lump in my throat and shake my head. "Let's go." I say dragging him faster towards the hotel.
