"Try it." I said pulling the wrench away from the last bolt. The ship sputtered but failed to start. "Keepuna!!" I cursed slamming my fist into the hard metal body of the ship. I grunted in frustration.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Finn asked from the cockpit.

"I don't know." I said taking the bolts out one at a time. I popped the panel off revealing the problem area of the ship. I couldn't figure out what was wrong. My eyes hurt from staring at it for so long.

Suddenly someone blocked the sunlight illuminating the inside of this ship and I opened my mouth to tell him to move. Before I could say anything a hand shot in front of my nose pointing at something.

"This part isn't attached all the way." A familiar voice. My face lit up and without another thought I shot up wrapping my arms around Poe's neck.

"You asshole!" I yelled pulling away and hitting him on the arm. He just laughed scrunching up his face adorably. "You couldn't have said goodbye?!"

"I don't like goodbyes, you know that." He said.

"I know but-!" I was interrupted by his lips. I pushed him away still mad. "No! That's not how it works!" I said, but then pulled him into another kiss.

"Oh so that's how it works, thanks great. I'll remember that." He joked nodding.

"Kee baatu baatu!" 'You bother me' I said hitting his arm and turning back to my work.

"Ah, sweets patogga." He said innocently trying to appeal to me and get me to forgive him. I ignored him and pushed the part back in place.

"Try it now Finn!" I called up to him. He started the ship and it whizzed into action beautifully.

"Whooo!" Finn yelled pumping his fist. I walked over to the cockpit and he held his hand out for a high five. I jumped up and slapped his hand.

"I'm sorry, Hale, I'll say goodbye if I makes you feel better." He said. I bit my lip and turned to him.

"Alright." I said smiling. He smiled back.

His hands went to my hip and pulled me close to him, pressing his lips passionately to mine. I cocked my head back and ran my fingers through my hair.

"Uh, I'm just gonna... See if General Organa needs anything." Finn said sounding uncomfortable. Poe and I both smiled against each other's lips and nodded with out breaking apart.

We kissed for a long time, eventually making it back to his room and .... Yeah
