Chapter 21

Jays pov

I walk up to the sound of loud footsteps on the ceiling above. I looked around and it was nearly completely Dark bar one window letting in the slightest bit of light.. It took me a minute to realise that we were in what looked like a jail but with more of a cage. I looked around and saw Erin still unconscious on the floor. My body ached from The kicks and the punches but I pulled myself towards her and lifted her head so that you in my lap as I leaned against the wall, "hey baby it's gona be ok" I said moving a piece of hair from her face. I could see the bruising around her eyes and cheeks and I just felt guilty that I couldn't do anything about it. I just s sat there and did nothing. I screamed and wriggled but it was no use. Erin started to stir as a i seen her eyes flickered open:

J- hey your ok

E- I don't feel ok ...

*erin flinched with the pain when she tried to sit up, leaning agents the wall beside Jay*

J- we're going to be ok you know?

E- I know but I'm sorry I got you into this ...

J- hey you don't have to apologise specially when the reason I'm here is because you love me and I love you! * Jay says grabbing Erin's hand and intertwining their fingers*

E- *erin smiled looking at their hands* I do you know ... Love you I just want you to know just in...

J- *Jay cut her off* hey don't say that don't even think like that were getting out of here but us together *gives her hand one more squeeze before grimacing at the sharp pain runny up his leg from the deep cut on his leg*, pull it out were going to get out of here*he says gesturing towards the knife in his leg*

E- you sure?

J- they don't know we have and it will give us an advantage. Just do it quick.

E- ok on three, one, two *she pulls it out*

*jay grunts in pain*

J- ah what happened to three?

E- I thought it would be better if you didn't see it coming...

J- ok I guess ... Thank you ...

E- it's ok it was only a knife...

J- not just for that for everything for being there for Alex for making me smile and laugh when I'm down, picking me up when I fall I love you more than anything and I want you to just in case you know ...

E- hey *she says putting her hands on either sides of his face* don't Think like that remember? Were getting out of here and were going to see your daughter again okay?

J- our ...*he says in between deep breaths between pain*

E- ok our daughter ok? I love you and her and when we get out of here I swear I'm going to live on cookie dough ice cream for a week and no one can judge or stop me...*she laughed slightly*

J- that sound like a plan! *jay leaned in and kisses Erin with more passion and love then he had ever done before, until they were interrupted by the loud opening of the door*

Jason- hey lovebirds yere up early it's only 6:30. Let's get down to business then shall we?

Voights Pov

It's nearly 7 AM and I'm waiting outside the district, of course I didn't get any sleep I was too nervous wearying about erin and Jay. My thoughts were interrupted as I seen Antonio and Alvin pull up in front of me followed by Adam and Kevin behind us. I almost forgot about Olivia before I seen her come to the side of my car "you ready?" "Ya ok". I step out of the care is the unit gathers around the front of the district:

V- okay Adam and Alvin ride together and Antonio and Kevin, Olivia with me, when we get there you wait for me to tell you what to do. okay let's get going where on the clock here people. Nobody says much we just all get in our cars and start driving it's a long drive ahead...
