"You don't even know who I am!" I protest as he drags me along the sidewalk.

He comes to an abrupt halt and turns to smile at me.

"Tell me then. Who are you?"

"I'm Ariana. Ariana Holmes."

"Workplace?"

"None. I probably got fired from missing too many days."

"Family?"

"Mum, Dad, and two younger siblings."

"Names?"

"Jaqueline, Sherlock, and Abby and Joey."

"Sherlock Holmes? Is this some sort of joke?"

"No."

"So he's-"

"Yeah. He's real."

"You know you're not the only genius in the room."

"We're on a street corner and something tells me I'm more of a genius than you are."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah."

"Prove it."

"Lost someone you loved very much lately, haven't you?"

"How do you know?"

"Tremble of your hand and at the mention of it your eyes began to water. But the loved one isn't dead. Just lost. And there's no way to get back to them."

"Yeah."

"Rose."

"What?"

"Her name was Rose. Whenever I said anything you looked back at the restaurant with the dangling flowers. Roses."

"Yeah."

"I can help you get back to her. Even more, I can stitch up the rip in time after we leave it."

"How?"

"You seem to forget I'm a witch and I have all the power of the universe at my fingertips."

"Oh. Yeah."

"You need me, Doctor."

"Yeah. Twice the genius for the trips would be great."

"I'd say 10 times the genius."

"Whatever."

"Well then. Allons-y!"

"Hey! That's my line!"

"Not anymore, Doctor."

At with that, we're off. He drags me into the TARDIS which welcomes me. Called me its child. Child of the TARDIS. I like that title.
