Aman's POV

I tossed on my bed, I don't know why I couldn't sleep and my air conditioner wasn't working made it even worse for me. I growled internally and sat up straight on my bed as I ran a hand through my hair frustratingly.

I looked to the side table and just when I reached the jag, something caught my eardrums. I furrowed and looked at the wall clock hanging on the call and sighed, knowing very well what was noise and who made it. This was like a normal thing to me already, I have been used to it.

I pushed the quilt away and stood on my feet before I approached my room doors. I held the knob and turned it open and stepped out of my room.

Dard dilon ke kam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar hum ho jaate.

Kitne haseen aalam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate.

I heard the voice ringing in my ears and I walked in the direction to find him as usual at the balcony, leaning leisurely on the Bamboo swing as he faced the Mumbai city with a guitar in his hands.

Dard dilon ke kam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar hum ho jaate.

Kitne haseen aalam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate.

He looked so lost in his feelings that I guessed, everything became oblivious to him. His head was rested in a comfortable pose and his eyes were glued at the sparkling lights ahead him, as if he was looking at something in between those beautiful lights.

Tere bina na aaye sukoon,
Naa aaye qaraar mujhe,
Door wo saare bharam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate.

He rubbed the guitar strings coordinately as he let the wind push the swing and I sucked in a deep breath. I saw pain strike his face when he closed his eyes, sinking in his own world.

Ishq adhoora duniya dhoori,
Khwahish meri kar do na poori.

Dil to ye hi chaahe,
Tera aur Mera ho jaaye muqammal ye afsaana.

Har mushkil aasaan ho jaati,
Main aur Tum gar Hum ho jaate.

Kitne haseen aalam ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate.

He brought his left hand up and brushed it against the corner of his eyes and I felt my heart churned in pain. His voice was so soulful that I couldn't help but feel it along with him. It clearly showed the pain he was going through.

"Aman?" I heard Shehryaar Sir's voice behind me and I quickly blinked the moistures in my eyes away and loosened my expressions before I turned towards him.

"Jee Sir." I replied looing at him and he furrowed at me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and I wanted to reply but when cut short when Hussain Sir's voice echoed again.

Baaki nahi kuch par dil na maane,
Dil ki baatein dil hi jaane.

Hum dono kaheen pe mil jaayenge ik din,
In ummeedon pe hi main hoon zinda.

Har manzil haasil ho jaati,
Main aur Tum 'gar Hum ho jaate.

"Hmm...let him be. He might need some time for himself. At least, he's not doing stupid things anymore." He voiced out and I sighed before I nodded my head reluctantly at him. I guessed, staying here for a week, he have already knew his brother well.
