"I'm really going to miss you, Finn," I say, hugging him goodbye at the base.

"I'm going to miss you even more," he hugs me tighter.

"Write to me all the time and Skype me when you can," I sob.

"I promise," he smiles.

The Sargent blows his whistle, signalling the men to form a line.

"Goodbye, Rach," he quickly kisses me on the forehead.

"I love you, Finn," I shout, as he makes his way over to the Sargent.

All of a sudden there is a loud gun shot and Finn falls to the ground. A bullet to the chest.

Screaming, I sit up in bed and feel the sheets around me. Finn wasn't there!

"Finn!" I scream.

Finns head pops out of the bathroom and his eyes widen.

"Rach! Are you okay?" he asks, rushing over to the bed.

"Y-you....s-s-shot...." I manage to say.

"Bad dream?" he asks, knowing what my dream was about.

I nod my head and look into his eyes. It doesn't help at all and I just start to cry even harder. Finn puts his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him.

"Don't cry, babe," he sniffles.

Only now do I realise he is crying as well.

"Shhh, it's okay," he reassures, rocking me back and forth in his arms.

"I don't want you to die," I cry into his chest.

"I won't, Rachel," he sighs.

"Promise?" I ask, looking up at his face.

"I promise, Rachel," he smiles.

I smile and peck his lips. "Let's go back to sleep,"

"Honey?" Finn raises an eyebrow.

"What?" I say, looking at him awkwardly.

"It's, umm, nearly lunch time," he says with a cheeky grin.

"Shutup,"I growl.

"Okay, okay," Finn says, putting his hands up in surrender.

Poking my tongue out at him, I get out of bed. I walk into the bathroom, strip off my clothes, turn on the shower and hop in. The warm water soothes my body and I get lost in the feeling. I grab the shampoo and wash my hair and body. Slowly I turn off the shower and hop out.

"Brrrrrr!" I shiver, grabbing a towel.

Whilst drying myself, I go through a list in my head of things I need to do today.

•grocery shopping

•ring mum

•pick up Emma's birthday present for tomorrow

•visit Cameron (maybe tomorrow)

•don't tell Finn about visiting Cameron (he'll freak!)

•get Finn a going away present

Tears start to well in my eyes at the thought of last night and my dream this morning. He can't leave!

"No! No! No!" I sob, collapsing on the bed. "Finn, no!"

"Rach!" Finn shouts, running up the stairs.

"Why?!" I scream into my pillow.

"Rachel?" a husky, low voice says from behind me.

"Go away!" I sob.
