chapter 20

-Liam's POV-

"Well... Um, a couple years ago, I had this girlfriend,"

She nodded her head in an attempt at telling me to continue.

"And I was getting really bored with the relationship. I didn't want to break up with her because we dated for years. And so I cheated on her. With a girl Harry was into. And she caught me. I ended up hooking up with that girl constantly after our breakup. Eventually me and Harry madeup. But that girl thought I liked her. But I used her. For sex,"

After I spit it all out, her mouth dropped in realization. But this is different. I regret my past and I know what I did was wrong. And I shouldn't have done that. But Caia's different. I'm not just using her. She looked at me and her eyes started to water. "And when was the last time you 'Hooked up' with this girl?" She used her hands to make air quotes.

"2 days ago," I looked down in shame as her mouth dropped even wider than it was before. "You're fucking disgusting," when I glanced up to look at her she was already out the door. I strided towards the door she just sprinted out of. I took a couple of steps before I stopped.

She's gone.

-Caia's POV-

My feet hit the ground softly as I ran on the balls of my feet, wiping my tears quickly.

I don't know why I was so hurt.

I guess I just thought he was a better guy.

But evidently I was wrong.

My adrenaline was rushing. I was running faster than normal. I just wanted to get away from this. From him.

I let my feet carry me where they wanted to go and it lead right to.Niall's condo. As I ran up, I began to lose my breath. I slowed to a walk. My breathing was heavy as I reached the condo and it was quite dark outside so it took me awhile to see the glimmer of the black car sitting on the street. I didn't recognize the car but as I got closer to the car I saw the top of a curly brown head. He was looking down at his phone, but when he heard my footsteps, he shoved his phone in his pocket and lifted his head so his eyes met mine. Shoving his hands in his pockets.

He took a few steps towards me as I took some towards him.

We were several feet away when we both stopped.

"Sorry,"

Although that was all he said. I was surprised.

I nodded my head to say its okay.

"Come on. Get in," he tilted his head towards the car as he pulled the keys out of his pocket.

I took a few steps forward before I noticed what I was doing. "What the hell makes you think I wanted to go with you? You've been nothing but an asshole to me."

I began to turn around but it was only seconds till my back was pushed against the car. My breath quickened as he smirked inches away from my lips.

"It wasn't a question,"

He growled in my ear, chills began to cover my whole body.

He glanced down at my lips and pushed my hands even harder.

"Now get in the car,"
