I made Luke look back at me, and I hugged him, putting my cheek against his. His heart started beating faster, and I smirked before pressing a kiss to his jawline. His breath hitched and I looked back into his eyes,

"What's he talking about?" I asked and he bit his lip ring,

"Uh, well-" he scratched the back of his neck, "I have to ask you something really important." He said and I chuckled,

"Okay.?"

"Wi-" he let out a huff and I giggled. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked and my face fell a little bit.

I looked away from him, and remembered the night Gage asked me that same question. At the football game. I bit my lip, feeling tears burn at the back of my eyes just at the thought of Gage, and he squeezed my waist,

"Sam?" He turned my face to look at him, and his blue eyes pierced through mine.

"Luke," I started and stood up, pacing in front of him, "I don't know if I can do that right now."

"Why?"

"I don't know!" I said and looked out my window before feeling his hands on my waist. He pulled me onto his lap, and wrapped his arms around me,

"I'm only going to treat you right, Beautiful. He was an asshole for giving you up." He said softly and pressed a kiss to the back of my neck. I felt myself weaken when his breath trickled down my skin, and I moved over onto the bed. "Sam, let me prove it to you."

"Luke...-"

"Please.?" He asked and his features softened. I licked my lips, thinking over everything that has happened to me over this last year.

Thinking about how much I love him, and how much I know I should just say yes. Meeting the boys and Michael has changed my life. And I can't help but think that it was for the better. He means everything to me. I want him to know it.

I know he loves me. That probably sounds really conceited, but, I'm saying it that way because I know he loves me and I know I love him just as much, if not more. I need to let Gage go.

"Okay." I said softly and we locked eyes. "Yes." I grinned and his eyes widened,

"Really?!" He asked excitedly and I laughed a little bit,

"Yeah." I moved my hands into his hair and he smiled wide, showing off his dimples. "I love you, Luke. I want to make sure you realize that." I told him and he blushed,

"I love you more."

"Oh, don't even start that shit." I said and we both laughed before his lips were against mine again.
