I was cuddling with Gage in the living room, watching movies, and trying to keep Luke out of my head. It would work for awhile, but then Gage would either squeeze me tighter or kiss the back of my head or neck, and I would catch myself wishing it was Luke.

"Are you alright, Samantha?" He asked, snapping me out of my thoughts, and I looked at him,

"Yeah, why?" I asked softly and his eyes flickered from my lips and back to my eyes,

"You've been acting weird, lately. Like, you haven't been yourself. Except for when Belle makes you laugh and then you seem like you're fine but, when you're not with her, you're just different." He said and I looked back at the TV.

Probably because I feel like a terrible person for liking someone besides you. I thought to myself and he moved around to the point where I was on the couch, and he was on his side, resting his hand on my waist.

And our first date popped into my head. I got an overwhelming feeling of wanting him to kiss me like he did that night, and he smirked at me, pressing a kiss to the corner of my lips.

"Oh nice. Start that again." I mumbled and he chuckled,

"Only since you love it so much." He said and I rolled my eyes, moving my hands over his torso.

He took his shirt off like 5 minutes after walking in the door when he got here, and he wouldn't stop messing with me about me always looking at his muscle.

My hands rested on his abs, and I blushed when he grinned at me. He decided to leave a trail of kisses from my collarbone up to the corners of my lips again, and he pecked my lips in a way that left me feeling like I wanted more, and he smirked.

He finally kissed me, and we were about 3 minutes into it when I heard Michael's voice come through the door. I was home alone, which is why I invited Gage over in the first place, and I heard his voice,

"Sam, we're home."

We're?

I didn't want to, but I pulled off of Gage's lips just in time to see Luke walk through the doorway. He looked at us, and when he looked at me, I could see the hurt fill his eyes. Gage lay back beside me, and I looked away from Luke, hearing him walk out,

"They're in the living room." He said and he sounded hurt. Part of me wanted to run up to him and hug him tight, telling him that I was sorry, and the other part just wanted to stay with Gage and keep kissing him.

"Sam?" Michael asked and I locked eyes with him. He had his eyebrows raised, probably because Gage had his shirt off, and I chuckled,

"Michael, it's not what you think." I said and his jaw dropped,

"Oh really?"

"Michael, if we were gonna do it, I'll tell you 2 things: 1.- We would be in my bed, and 2.- His shirt wouldn't be neatly folded over on the couch. It would be like, 10 feet away from us." I said and Gage laughed a little bit,

"I could arrange that." He said and I rolled my eyes, hitting his chest. He looked at Michael, "Yeah, tell Luke I said hey." He said and I felt him tense up when he said Luke's name.

We all knew that Luke and Gage didn't exactly, get along. I looked at Michael again and he bit his lip,

"Yeah, no problem." He said rather sternly and I heard him walk upstairs. I looked back at Gage,

"Babe," I started and he looked at me, "I know you don't like Luke but couldn't you at least try to get along once?" I asked and he rolled his eyes,

"I'm not going to take kindly to a guy trying to steal my girlfriend from me, Samantha."

"...Mason does..." I mumbled and looked away from him. He lifted my chin up, and pressed his lips onto mine for a few seconds,

"I'm not worried about Mason." He said softly and my eyes widened slightly. I was getting ready to speak but he stopped me, "I'm not worried because I know you can't stand him." He said and I grabbed his hand, looking away from him,

"Then why are you worried about Luke?" I had the defensive tone in my voice again, and he bit his lip,

"Because I know that you can stand him!" He said and I jumped slightly. He didn't shout, it just startled me a little. "I'm sorry, Sam... I'm just-"

"Overprotective?" I cut him off and he huffed, making me grin, "You know, Gage, I get enough of that 'overprotectiveness' crap from Michael." I told him and he lightly laughed, moving a piece of hair behind my ear,

"Sam, I know he likes you. I know it." He said and I kissed him again, pulling him against my front. I pulled away, resting my forehead against his,

"It doesn't matter, Gage." I whispered and he gently pushed me onto my back. "It really doesn't."

He crashed his lips against mine, and I didn't think about anything, or anyone else but him.
