This last week couldn't have gone by any faster. Now we have 3 days until they leave, and, I'm not looking forward to it.

I was in my room, watching Grease, trying to just, get both Gage and Luke out of my head. Luke hasn't talked to me since that day, and I think it's because of what I said.

I feel bad for saying it now, but I was mad at him for saying that. Especially to Gage's face. Right in front of me. I wasn't really thinking straight and it just slipped out.

As soon as I said it, his face like, fell. I could see the hurt fill his eyes before I turned back around, and I didn't really think about it until I got back home that night.

"Sam?" I heard Luke's voice from the other side of my door, and it surprised me. My heart started racing and he opened my door a little bit, and looked at me, "Hey..." he trailed off and I looked away from him,

"Hi..." I didn't want to look back at him, but I did. He bit his lip,

"C-Can I come in?" He asked and I shrugged, glancing at my bed before back at the movie. I sat up and pulled my knees up to my chest. He closed my door and came over to my bed. He hesitated, but sat down on the other side,

"I'm gonna miss you..." he said softly and my eyes widened slightly. It was the first nice thing he's said to me for a while. "When we leave." He added and we finally locked eyes. My lips parted slightly and his eyes flickered to my lips for a second.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Luke..." I said quietly and looked back at the movie. I could feel him looking at me and I chuckled before looking at him, "What?"

"You're beautiful." He said simply and I blushed, looking away and shaking my head slightly,

"Luke-"

"I mean it." He cut me off and I looked back at him. He moved closer to me and I got really nervous. "You are." He added and my eyes flickered to his lips,

"Luke, you can't be doing this." I told him and his face fell again. I felt so bad but I had to tell him, "And I'm really sorry about the other day... for what I called you." I said and looked back at the TV. I heard him sigh,

"I'm sorry, too... I shouldn't of said that to him. Out loud." He mumbled and rubbed the back of his neck. I rolled my eyes and looked back at him,

"Luke, you need to understand that I'm taken." I said and his jaw dropped,

"Really?" He asked sarcastically and I glanced away. He paused the movie and made me look at him again, "And that's coming from the same girl who said that she really didn't know if she even wanted to be with him anymore? The girl who says, 'I'm not gonna date someone I don't like back.' What happened to her?" He asked and I felt tears trying to make their way to the front of my eyes.

I pushed his hand away and looked away again,

"I do like him back, Luke! That's the thing." I said and stood up, pacing slowly and rubbing my temples. He stood up too and walked up to me,

"Sam, he doesn't deserve you! You're worth too much and the last thing I want to happen to you is for you to get hurt. Especially by him." He said and I bit my lip, feeling the tears brim,

"He wouldn't hurt me." I told him and he scoffed at me,

"He's a jock, Sam! He'd hurt anyone without giving it a second thought." He stated and I got really tense. I looked into his eyes,

"You're just saying that because you're jealous!" I said and he raised his eyebrows. I couldn't stop myself this time, "You don't need to rip on him. It's pointless! Your opinion on him doesn't matter."

"Sam, he let's other guys flirt with you all the fucking time. A real boyfriend isn't gonna let other people flirt with and treat his girlfriend like their own." He said and I snickered at him,

"Are you serious? You flirt with me all the time, Luke."

"Yeah, but you don't mind it!" He said and backed me against my wall, "If you did, you'd treat me the way you treat people like Mason." He whispered and pressed a kiss to my cheek. My heart was beating out of my chest, and he pulled me against him, "I know you love it more than anything when I tell you how beautiful you are."

His voice was raspy, and I felt his breath trickle down my neck. I shivered a little bit, and out of habit, I pulled him against my front more, and held him tighter.

My knees were starting to get weak, and just to make it worse, he decided to leave a trail of feather light kisses along my jawline and down the side of my neck. His lips lingered in one specific spot for a second, and I felt my knees go completely weak when he pulled away.

He put his forehead against mine, and I moved my hands onto his chest. I wouldn't look into his eyes, but he lifted my chin up with his finger. I looked into his eyes and my heart broke a little when I thought about Gage.

"Luke," I started to push him away but he grabbed my hands. "Luke, no. I can't- I can't do this." I said and let go of his hands. I went back over to my bed, and I was getting ready to sit down but he grabbed my hand again,

"Sam, I don't want you to ignore me."

"I won't." I said and he squeezed my hand.

We stood silence for what seemed like forever, but I finally looked into his eyes again. His eyes were watery, and I felt pieces of my heart fall off.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he hugged me back.

I don't know what to do, Luke.
