I walked through the school hallways trying to navigate my way through the crowd. I finally found my way to my locker. I spun the lock, opening my locker to hear it let out a creek and groan sound.

I quickly grabbed my books for the rest of the day. By the time I got to school after my little Allison thing this morning I had already missed first and second period.

I was just gathering my books for 3rd and fourth, when a girl caught my eye. She looked familiar but I couldn't remember where I had seen her before.

She was walking down the stairs catching the eye of almost every guy in the hallway. She was very graceful, that was until she tripped on her foot and face planted into the ground. Ouch.

I saw a boy rush over to help her. But when I looked closer I saw that boy was Liam. And I saw the girl on the ground was doing her best to flirt with him. And that made me very annoyed.

I felt my heart begin to beat faster and it was as if I couldn't control my breathing. Everything seemed to get a red tint in my vision... This was not normal. Was this because of the bite? Oh no.

This was bad. But then all of a sudden it was like something snapped and I didn't care about that anymore. I wanted to hurt something. Or someone. And that someone just happened to be flirting with my crush.

I was just about to walk over when I felt someone grab my arm pulling me back. I turned to see Scott. I growled a low growl and he stepped back gasping. I was confused for a second but then my mind focused back on the girl.

I turned to where she was only to be greeted by a blank spot in the floor. I let out another growl but Scott quickly covered my moth with his hand. "Hollow shhh!" He growled back his eyes turning a deep red colour.

My own eyes started to tingle a bit and everything went a little cloudy. He took his hand away gasping. "Hollow?" I heard a voice ask. I knew that voice, that voice was so familiar. Then I felt someone turn me around and I was face to face with Liam.

He also gasped. Why were they doing that? Was there something wrong with me? I felt my eyes start to water and used every ounce of strength I could muster to push Liam away. Still annoyed he was flirting with that girl.

But what I didn't expect was for him to fly back into the lockers in the other side of the hallway and let out a very wolf like whimper. I turned to face Scott and I placed my hand in his arm imagining it burning. Then I felt my hand grow hot and he let out a gasp.

I looked down and there was a burn mark in the shape of a hand that was starting to heal. I started freaking out and backed away. "Stay away from me." I whispered. Running out of the hallways towards the lacrosse field.

But I had only gotten a few meters out the door when I felt someone spin me around. I looked up to see Liam and by now I was really crying. But I was trying to hold the tears back because I didn't want to look weak.

He wrapped his arms around my small body and pulled me into him. Giving me a very comforting hug. I felt myself start to calm down and my breathing became normal.

I went to pull away but was pulled right back into his chest. I looked up to see he was already looking down at me. "I'm sorry." I whispered looking at him. "That's okay. But I don't know how your so strong!" He said breathy, laughing a little.

I let out a laugh remembering he didn't know about the supernatural yet. But then he stopped laughing and looked down at me.

"But what was up with your eyes? Did u have contacts in or something?" He said concerned. "What do u mean?" I asked confused. "Hollow your eyes were gold." He said eyebrows furrowed.

"What!" I yelled, shocked.
