I sat in the hospital room with Liam as we waited for the doctor to come and check us out.

I was reading a chart on the wall trying to ignore the awkward atmosphere, and shake the butterflies in my belly.

I heard a knock at the door and I saw a man walk in. He looked at me and then looked shocked when he saw Liam.

"Hollow would you mind waiting outside for a second?" The doctor asked.
"Of course" I said.
"Wait. Can she stay?" Asked Liam looking at the doctor.
"Are you sure?" The doctor asked.
"Yes." Liam said looking at the floor.

I quietly walked back over and sat back down on the bed trying not to move my shoulder. "Are you mad at me?" Liam asked the doctor.
"No of course not. Mind telling me what happened?" He asked. Liam looked down.
"I went up against two juniors. One of them is team captain."
"Remember what we always say, play smart not hard." The doctor said. Wait what? Do they know each other?

"I have more reason to worry than you. Your mum might just kill me for getting you into Lacrosse. Let's just wait for the X-ray" The doctor mumbled walking out of the room.

By now I was very confused. Liam looked over at me and laughed. "His my stepdad." He said smiling. I was about to reply when there was a bang outside.

I looked over to Liam who shrugged. I however was much more concerned hen I heard the scream of an all to familiar voice. "Melissa!" I screamed running into the hall to find someone  or something on top of her. I was trying to figure out what it was. But then it clicked... Windigo

Before I could do anything Scott walked into the hallway and I gasped. Scott was a werewolf? Why didn't my uncle tell me? I looked at Scott in disbelief. My cousin dated a werewolf? Is that why she changed the code?

I was to shocked to even notice the Windigo coming at me. I screamed when it pulled my arm making my shoulder feel like it was exploding. That was all I could remember before I blacked out from the pain.
