After Johnny left the estate, the family didn't know he was actually a Rutherford. Despite Sapphira's knowledge of Johnny being a Rutherford, she still has no knowledge of who the Rutherfords really were. Even if Andrew was able to motivate his son, Ron continues to be anxious and quite fearful of Sapphira. He continues to think that Sapphira doen't trust him anymore and the thing he feared the most, stop considering him as a father. As Ron was given the opportunity to talk to her, he backs out when Sapphira walks past and backstabs her father. Sarafina catches her husband so depressed of their daughter and approaches him.
Sarafina states that he was like the old Ron that used to be. Ron became curious and Sarafina explains further. Sarafina remarks that once, he would be so terrified when she usually gets upset and even lock himself in the room to cry. The two laugh at Ron's shameful attitude as the two caress. As they nuzzle by the lounge, they hear Spencer teasing Sapphira. Just as Spencer taunts Sapphira about Johnny, Sarafina tells Ron to get ready. Given the chance, Ron still refuses and suggests to Sarafina that he shall do it sooner when he is in the mood when ready.
