Note from the author: I honestly didn't think I'd have much fun writing this, but it's been quite a good sit down just to relax and explore my imagination, hope y'all like what come ahead, on with the story.
Bluey
I told him I'd be there for him, that's what I intend to do. Although, I couldn't help but notice how soft his fur was when I hugged him, and how cold he felt, it didn't feel like Mackenzie was himself on the inside, but I knew he tried his best so I wouldn't worry.
I return home with a concerning look on my face, not knowing how to break the news to my dad.
"Hey kiddo, how'd it go- Bluey? You okay squirt?" "No, not really dad, can we talk?" He looked concerned now too, "Of course hun, what's on your mind kiddo?"
I began telling him what happened in the park, but then something just slipped.
"Seeing someone I love in that state, I hated it..." Dad's eyes went wide, "Bluey, did you say love?"
I did, I... I don't know why I did... But it felt right. I... love my best friend.
"Yes dad I did, and I want to tell him, but how?"
"Is he coming for dinner?"
"Oh yes he is!" I said my tail wagging... But then remembering why we invited him.
"I'll get stuff ready with you mum, be good till we get back, and watch over Bingo okay?"
"Okay dad, love you!"
"Love you too squirt! Be home soon!"
