Part Eleven: The Plot Thickens

Mikan was walking around, trying to figure out how to apologize to Natsume. Every way that she could think included getting roasted alive.

Maybe she should just ask Hotaru to make a Natsume-Fire-Proof shield or something.

As Mikan was thinking, she couldn't help but wonder why Natsume was in such a bad mood these days. Sure, he was always, say......cough*murderous!*cough, but not THIS cough*murderous*cough. There must be something wrong.

But what?

Natsume was sitting under a tree, feeling a bit depressed. Bis diary...I mean JOURNAL had been missing for months! (or one week and three days and nine hours, if you want the truth.)

Anyways, Natsume was prepared o do just about anything o get the thing back.

After all, it contained some things that were meant to be kept private. If anyone found out his secret, Natsume didn't know what he would do.

At least, after he finished killing the person.

Finally, Natsume decided to rest a bit before searching for his journal. As he fell asleep, he couldn't help but have a feeling that Shadow had it. He shrugged it off.

It was just a feeling. Besides, he wouldn't dare...........would he?

Mikan was sick and tired of faking apologies to Natsume.

She finally decided that it was time to do something about this predicament.

It was obvious that she couldn't apologize to Natsume without Bing burned, so she decided that if she could figure out why he was so cough*short-tempered!*cough, He might forgive her.

Hey, it wasn't likely, but it was worth a try! Mikan decided to ask Tsubasa senpai if he knew anything about Natsume.
