( disclaimer : I have never been to dairy queen so I had no idea what to truly write about lol but yeah , I tried.)

Seongwha's pov:

We got out of the car and made our way into dairy queen when I realized hongjoongs eyes lit up.

"You have never been to dairy queen?" I asked him trying not to laugh.

"Maybe not..." He said with a akward smile.

"So u don't know what ur gonna get?"   I asked as I raised up my eyebrow. 

"No , what do u recommend?" He asked as he looked at the menu and the line infront of us.

"What type of flavors do u like?" I asked him. 

"Chocolate but also vanilla , so a mix of both basically" He said as he looked at me.

"U should get the chocolate milk shake then , it doesn't necesarilly taste allot like vanilla but its still good asf" I said.

"Okay then" he said as he looked into his phone.

"Do u wanna eat anything?" I asked him as he looked up from his phone confused.

"Ur not planning to pay for everything are u" He said as he raised up his eyebrow.

"U caught me" I said as I smiled and put up my hands in the air.

"Im not letting u pay for my stuff , im not gonna let u spoil me" He said as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"What if I want to spoil u?" I asked him as I got closer to him on accident. I didn't even mean to go up that close to him but my body just acted on its own.

"Um...." He said as he looked up at me and then sighed in defeat.

"Fine but u have to let me pay the next time we go out" He said as I smiled ear to ear.

"What?" he asked me with a confused face.

"U want there to be a next time?" I asked him as I raised up my eyebrow while smiling at him.

"Shut up" he said as he hit my arm and I realized it was our turn.

"Hold on , I forgot my wallet in the car. Ill be back fast" I said to him as I walked to my car and left him with the cashier.

Hongjoong's pov : 

I watched seongwha walk away and then turned to the cashier akwardly.

"I don't know what to order yet , sorry" I said as the cashier stared at me in a..weird way? I had no idea what he was thinking about while looking at me

"Its okay , we can wait till ur boyfriend comes back" He said as he looked back down at the cash register.

"He's- he's not my boyfriend" I said as I stuttered for some reason and the cashier raised his eyebrow at me.

"In that case , can I get ur number?" he said as he smiled for the first time in our whole interaction. im not even gonna lie the cashier was hot asf but I would never do that to seongwha and ur probably wondering what I mean by that but I still have feelings for seongwha and I don't know if he feels the same way. I mean he keeps flirting with me and asking me if he can kiss me so I don't know , its all just mixed signals.

Before I can answer the cashier and tell him that I can't seongwha came back jogging from his car.

"Did u order yet?" He asked me as he had his wallet in his hand.

"No , actually I was thinking maybe we could um go somewhere else" I said as I fidgeted with my hands hoping seongwha didn't hear the conversation I was having with the cashier and heard him say if he could get my number.

"Why , did something happen with the cashier?" He asked me as he looked up at the cashier staring at me up and down.

"Its not worth talking about , can we just go?" I asked him as he nodded and we walked out of dairy queen and got back into the car.

"Hongjoong" he said as I looked down.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"What did the cashier ask you?" He asked me as he stared at me.

"He just asked for my number" I said as I stared at him and he went quiet.

"That's all he asked u?" He asked me as he turned on the car and pulled out the parking lot and drove into the highway.

"Yeah , that's all" I said as I stared at him cause he lowkey looked hot while being upset.

"Why didn't u give him ur number though" he asked me confused which made me confused.

"Did u want me to give him my number?" I said as I raised up my eyebrow in confusion.

"No , ofcourse not. Im just saying if there is a specific reason behind it?" seongwha asked me as he looked at me through the mirror waiting for an answer.

"No , I just didn't want to give it to him" I said mumbling as he nodded in response and kept driving.

"Where do u want to go now?" He asked me as he pulled over on the road.

"Anywhere u want to go" I said as I stared at him and we made eye contact.

"I mean the sun is setting , maybe we can do a picnic at the beach" seongwha said as he smiled at me hoping for me to say yes.

"Okay but he have to get snacks first" I said as I smiled at him.

"Okay" seongwha said as he smiled ear to ear and pulled up into a target.
