I want to say before this chapter begins, I will be straying away from the original Christian belief of Raphael - you'll see what I mean as the story continues. He can't wait to meet you!

My eyes blinked open slowly, I let out an annoyed groan as my pocket buzzed crazily. Damn calculator. I shuffled out of Wally's arms, careful not to wake him up. I couldn't help but smile softly at his sleeping face; he looked so adorable with his droopy smile. I sat up against the back of the couch and pulled the red calculator from my pocket, staring down at the message that flashed on the small screen.

"WAKE UP"

"Okay, okay, I'm up. Calm down will you? This is annoying." I whispered to myself, my eyebrows furrowing in surprise as it stopped blinking.

Can it.. hear me?

I watched in awe as the keys pressed down on their own, small white letters appearing on the screen.

"SEE YOU"

I felt a shiver go down my spine - how was this calculator operating by itself?

"What.. are you?" I whispered, glancing around.

I will admit, I was feeling quite paranoid. All of the lights were off in Home, the only noises heard were Wally's soft snoring and the wind pounding against the windows. I jumped and shifted my attention back to the small screen as it buzzed with the word,

"ANGEL"

"Pfft- yeah, last time someone told me that they were the exact opposite." I scoffed, hovering my finger over the 'off' button.

"DONT"

The word flashed violently on the screen, the vibration shaking my hands hard and almost causing me to drop it.

"Okay, okay! Stop!" I whispered out, sighing as the violent shaking stopped.

The keys pressed down slowly again, white letters appearing slowly onto the screen.

"VOID"

Void? Like the void in Home's wall? But.. that's the way back to my room.

"Do you.. want me to go there?" I asked, shifting uncomfortably on the couch.

The calculator didn't respond, leaving me feeling a bit scared. I swallowed the nervous lump in my throat and stood, turning to the dark hallway. This is like a scene from a crappy horror movie - if they taught me anything, it's not to go down these types of hallways. But what other choice did I have? I needed to solve this. I gripped tightly onto the calculator with one hand and began tiptoeing to the hallway. I peered in and closed my eyes, if anything popped out all I'd need to do is scream, Wally is right there; I'm okay. I let out a stuttered sigh and ran down the hallway, throwing open the paint room door and flicking the light on swiftly. I felt like a five year old running away from an imaginary monster in the dark. I inhaled and turned my direction over to the familiar black hole in the wall, feeling drawn to it. I slowly made my way over and stared up into it, there was definitely no going back to sleep for me. The calculator buzzed suddenly causing me to gasp and flinch, almost throwing the entire thing into the void. I tossed it around in my hands before steadily holding it up to my face and reading aloud,

"BE NOT AFRAID"

Before I could process any of the words, six pale hands shot through the void and wrapped around me. I glanced down in fear, only to see the hands.. looking back at me.

They had eyes.

I was yanked into the void and drowned by a suffocating darkness.
