You say you were always willing to fight,
Do everything you could,
Everything you needed to.
Why couldn't we.
I was willing to fight for this,
You say you were willing to die,
So why couldn't this work out?
Why'd it even have to be a fight?
Why couldn't it just come naturally.
We should've known and accepted instead of looking past it.
Why shouldn't we?
Why can't we just let love win.
We couldn't have known, but we could've done more,
Done better for each other.
Why couldn't we, shouldn't we, didn't we, just let love win?
