Emotions give meaning.
Emotions are like a warm hug,
Someone telling you they'll take the blame.
Covering your shifts at work when you are too tired for it.
Emotions are evidence.
Proof that your a human, a living creature,
Not a robot or something made from someone's hazy consciousness.
They prove you're real.
We are allowed, permitted, and enabled to have them.
Born with them yet each 1 out of billions comes out with,
Different ways to trigger them.
Emotions are an evolutionary instinct, each coming stronger than before.
Eventually all we will be is feelings, it's time to embrace them.
