Darian didn't make a move, he smiled as the men approached him. He halted them by raising his hands, he turned back to the masked man and said. "You will spare my life if you truly loved my mother."

"No! I want to kill you because knowing that you are alive reminds me of her! Do you know how miserable I was when she rejected me to be with your father? I couldn't even love any other woman because I loved her too much. I hate to know that she had Raymond's son instead of mine! I will kill you, Darian! I will! Tie him up." He commanded again in an angry tone.

"This doesn't make any sense to me," Darian chuckled. "You are killing people because of a mere woman?"

"Isabella wasn't a mere woman, you punk! She was my whole life! You will never know this because you are just as heartless as your father and you don't know what it means to love a woman."

Darian felt the pain in his voice as he spoke to him. He heaved a sigh and said. "My mother is not dead, invisible man. She's very much alive!" He could see his face lit up when he told him that. "And you never really loved her for you to think that she's dead."

"How dare you say that to me?" He hit the table and stood up.

"I guess your men don't know that she's not dead." He looked at their faces. "I heard from the men you sent to disrupt the family party that my mother was alive and I looked for her. She's not fucking dead!" Darian yelled into his ears, Jay was speaking into the listening bug, but Darian didn't hear his words anymore.

Confused, the masked man left where he was seated to where his men were standing with their heads facing the floor. "What happened to Isabella when I was in jail last year? You told me she died, you fucking buried her body, didn't you?" He clutched onto the neck of one of the men.

Darian smiled. He was distracted and that was the perfect time to attack him. He spoke into the listening bug. The masked man were still venting on his men when Jay broke into the room with their men, pointing their guns towards the masked man and his men.

Darian slid out the gun from his pockets, turned to the masked man, and yelled. "Take off your mask!"

"Shoot!" The masked man ordered his men. He veered around and made a run of the room, but Darian sprinted after him. He stopped running when he got to the garden in the building, he brought out his gun and pointed it at Darian.

"You are a smart one, huh? Not as dumb as your father." The masked man laughed, rounding the garden. His eyes were targeting Darian's arms as he moved. He wanted him to be carried away before he shot him.

"You asked for peace but you asked your men to kill me. What do you think I am? Someone who dies easily?" He cocked his gun, setting it directly to face the masked man. "What's your name? Take that mask off your face."

"I guess It's time to kill you." He held the trigger guard of his gun, and Darian did the same. They walked around the garden, setting their guns at the perfect spot in each other's bodies. "Before you die, can you tell me where Isabella is?" He asked Darian.

"I would have loved to but it's a pity you would not see her anymore." Darian smiled sheepishly.

A loud gunshot sounded behind them, another was directed at Darian but he managed to dodge it. He pointed his gun between the masked man and one of his men who was walking closer to him. Darian was confused, he quickly directed the gun to the man approaching him and in a second, he shot him down. He fell to the floor, blood gushing out of his head.

The masked man cocked his gun again, taking Darian by surprise. He shot his arm before he could attempt to shoot him. Darian winced in pain, instantly lowering his gun. A sharp pain surged through him, he felt like life had seeped out of him.
