Chapter 26

"A PUPPY!"

"OH MY GOD"

"Guys there's a fricking PUPPY on the floor!"

Everyone is screaming all at once, when we walked through to the cinema room there was a puppy sleeping in the middle of the room with a bow around its collar.

"Who bought it?" I asked curiously picking up the sleepy Cane Corso puppy. He was a beautiful brindle colour, I knew the breed immediately since it was my favourite breed.

"I did." Aaron answered. The whole room went silent, his cousins who I met a little while ago all stood shocked, I was a little shocked too since Aaron is always good at gift giving but he's not soft.

"You did?" Damien asked raising his eyebrow.

"As in you bought this dog?" Sebastian joined in.

"I thought you hated dogs?" Carlos said grinning at Aaron.

"Shut up all of you. It's not for me it's for Florence." He snapped at his cousins walking over to me. "Do you like him princess?"

I smiled flinging my arm not holding the puppy around his waist. "Like him? I love him! Oh my god thank you so much Aaron you're the best."

I can feel his body freeze at my touch, he doesn't know what to do. It was the same when I kissed him on the cheek at dinner, I've been getting bolder with my actions as the days gone on trying to own my feelings but all it feels like is child's play, kisses on cheeks and hugs. I need to go in for the kill this evening, I need to kiss him.

I feel his arms tightly wrap around me, I could stay in this position forever but he's squishing my puppy and I want him to stay alive so I move back slightly.

He moves next to me sliding his arm around my waist "what're you going to call him princess?"

I thought about it for a minute, I wanted something strong and powerful for my boy since his mum and dad were strong and powerful, well his dad is not him mum... oh my god I'm acting like we're a couple.

"Kade" I spit out.

Everyone stands around nodding shaking their heads.
"Kade it is!" Aaron squeezes my hip tightly.

"Powerful name Florence" Damien winked at me.
"A powerful name indeed." Benny agreed.

The rest of the evening was spent opening presents, well Jess Vienna and I opening presents, the boys were done pretty quickly.

I still hadn't gave Aaron his present yet, I had to order it online since he wouldn't let me out of the house so I was ordering lots of presents to distract him from my main present which wasn't easy to order online.

Cole got me pink blades, he said we were going to start training with knives and I needed some that matched my personality. It was really thoughtful of him especially since it would look really cool in someone's leg.
Did I really just say that? I'm starting to sound like him now

Vienna got me the limited edition shatter me series books, instead of colour the books were all black. They were beautiful, I tried not to cry when I saw them, it's my favourite series.

Jessica got me a velvetiser, I screamed when I saw it making Kade jump, I'd been drinking hot chocolate every morning and evening for weeks after I was shot but I always wanted one and now it's mine.

Aaron was the last to give me a present. "Wasn't Kade enough?" I laughed stroking Kade who nuzzled closer to me.
"Nothing will ever be enough for you princess." He whispered pulling out a small box from his pocket.
