You sit next to Kie around the campfire you guys had made, "Hey, guys. So, like, my dad's already gonna kill me. So what's this mandatory meeting about?" Pope asks as he sits beside JJ.
John B looks towards JJ, "Might as well tell them, man. Before we're gaffed." JJ says poking at the fire with a stick.
"So, the gold never went down with the Royal Merchant." John B says, "it's on the island."
"Are you serious?" Kie asks, "Oh, my god."
"I'd like to voice my skepticism." Pope says, "I'm sure you would Pope." John B says, getting up and grabbing his backpack, explaining his evidence.
"So where do we find the gold?" Kie asks, "The gold is in parcel nine, near the water." John B says
"Holy shit." Kie laughs out, looking to you, "We're gonna be rich kie!" You say excitedly
"I still don't trust this." Pope says
JJ walks up to John B picking him up and spinning him around, "Woah, Hello! Fire. You're near the fire. Careful, you're literally gonna burn." John B warns, JJ putting him down,
"I'm so proud of you right now." JJ says, John B holds his face in his hands, "Thank you. That's really sweet of you."
"Get a room." You laugh at them, Kie chuckling beside you, John B flips you off, "You're just jealous!" JJ sasses, pretending to flip his hair, "As if!" You shout back, awkwardly looking away from JJ as you clear your throat.
"So what's the plan?" You ask, "Yeah what's the bright idea?" Pope says, "Good question." JB says pointing at Pope, "So, Sarah Cameron's coming tonight. She's gonna bring an original survey map—" John B starts,
"Wait. Wait. Hold on." Kie interrupts, "Sarah? Wh-why sarah?" She asks
"Uh.." John B mumbles, the rest of you silent avoiding eye contact with Kie.
"This is gonna be good." JJ says looking down,
"Sarah, um, she— she got me into the archives in Chapel Hill yesterday, and that's where i got the letter." John B explains
"You were in Chapel Hill with Sarah Cameron?" Kie asks annoyed, "Yeah, um—" John B admits awkwardly.
"He was mackin' on her." JJ says causally, "I wasn't macking." John B says, "You were totally macking Sarah Cameron." JJ continues
"I wasn't macking on her, okay?" He says, "Definitely was." You add, making John B glare at you, "I was using her for access."
You sit with your head on your hand as you watch John B and Kie argue back and forth about the Sarah Cameron situation, "Cant we just go get this map and go home already?" Pope asks annoyed, John B sigh, "Yea- yeah, let's go." He says walking towards the twinkie, the rest of you following.
