Here comes the sun

"Babe what are you doing?" Max laughed loudly as he saw his boyfriend almost tripping over in the white sand. "Well of this f1 career won't work out for me I need a back up plan!" He grinned as he made his way over to the dutchman. Max who wrapped his arms around his neck. "And what is that plan exactly?" He snorted.
"Isn't it obviously Maxy?" He said inching closer wrapping his arms around the Dutchman's hips cocking his head slightly sideways. "What is?" His smile only turning brighter. "The circus Max!" He stated like it was obvious dimples appearing now.
"Well then I hope that f1 career works out for you" he says sticking out his tongue before pecking his boyfriend's lips.
"I'm offended Maxy" he said as he laced his fingers through Max's blonde locks.
"Don't be" a bright smile. "Cause I know you are amazing in f1 and I know you will do great things. Believe me soon the both of us will be fighting for championships!" Charles just smiled in a reply before he placed his lips on the Dutchman's again before pulling back a little searching his eyes. "Promise?" Max nodded "promise!"

The couple continued the relax on the private beach at their Holliday house. Max had been so surprised when they arrived. Charles hadn't told him where they were going, not even when they were on the plane. Even after persistently asking and even treatining him with tickle dead the monegasque still wouldn't budge.

Charles had heard about this beautiful holiday retreat from Alex, he told him that he had been there with Lilly and they hadn't seen a soul enjoying their privacy last year. It was honestly perfect. The bedroom had big and high windows close to the jetty on the water, the living room having a view on the private beach.

They already had enjoyed a nice breakfast and dinner finishing the day drinken gin tonics together falling a sleep between the crisp white sheets cuddled closely getting rid of their jet legs before today they decided to completely unplug and just hang around on the beach. Enjoying nice cocktails, the nice warm sea breeze heating as the sun tinted their skin.

Their second day there still followed by good dinner and late night talks. When they finally made it to bed making out lazily enjoying the other company, enjoying the others touch.

"Really?" Max had asked perplexed his eyes wide a smile creeping on his face! "Yes really!" Charles couldn't help but copy the Dutchman's expression who looked like a happy kid on Christmas morning. "That's amazing! I always wanted to do that!" Charles grinned wider. "I know Mon Cherie!"
"Your the best!" Max says as he cuddled his boyfriend close.
"You sure though? There are going to be other people there..." his smile faltering a little.

Of course Charles knew it was a risk but he just hoped they wouldn't be so much recognised here. Besides in their late night conversation of the last couple of days they had talked about what they wanted to do. Both were still not ready to share their story with the world. But the couple had decided they wouldn't keep up the big charade.
"Yes Mon Chou I'm sure!" Charles smiled at him immediately radiating it on to the dutchman. "Ik hou van je lief!" (I love you my love) "and ik fan jouwe skatje!" (And I love you to!) Max couldn't help but laugh at how adorable the monegasque sounded when he tried to speak dutch. "You're getting better at it Lief!" He smiled "have you been practicing?" He added as he pecked his lips. "Yes actually I did!" Charles smiled proudly.

"Ha don't tell me are scared now?!" Max laughed out loud already in the water, white cap on his head i with his life jacket on waiting for Charles to join him. Charles being the last one in their group of four to join in the water. "What if it bites me?" He said still still on the edge of the water pulling on the strings of his life jacket. Starring at the grey creatures swimming in front of him in the water.

Max snorted. "They won't eat you scha- Charles!" He laughed. Correcting himself before he let the pet name escape his lips realising they were still in the company of another couple and the dolphin trainer.
"I'm to pretty to be eaten alive" Charles replied still oblivious before he realised and his cheeks turned pink as he saw his boyfriend and the other couple was looking at him and trying to stiffle their laughs.
"Just get in Char!" Max said fondly rolling his eyes at his boyfriend's antics.
"O-okay" he said as he hesitantly went in to the water until he was next to Max and the other couple.

They listened attentively to the dolphin trainer. On what to do and what they shouldn't do. When they were fully instructed the trainer beckoned over the dolphin's it was all going well until they came within two meters of the monegasque "o my god Max! I can't do this!" He said as he pulled back grabbing on to the dutchman for dear life. Before he realised what he was doing and let go of the dutchman again. Feeling the gaze of the others on him.

"He is not that good with letting go off control" Max said as he smiled politely to the others. The other couple laughed at that "yeah we noticed" the girl with smiled at him giving them a wink.

They decided that the other couple would go first as they were not afraid and so that Charles could see that it was perfectly safe. Though when their turn came Charles still backed of a little.

"You should try it together, it's less intimidating that way!" The trainer had instructed them. The driver couple had looked at each other hesitantly. They had tried of so desperately to keep an acceptable distance.
The other couple saw their hesitation so they quickly chimmed in. "We won't tell" the girl nodded reassuringly at the two boys.

They gave eachother another glance, deciding on what to do until they both nodded. Giving in. The trainer instructed them to reach out their hand slowly towards to dolphins. The grey creature slowly touching their finger tips.

"O my god Max this is amazing" Charles exclaimed as he was petting the dolphin a smile from ear to ear. "Yes it is!" He breathed in his ear as he still had a firm grip on his boyfriends hip.

After that they got to swim with the dolphins and give them some fish before the dolphins were set free in too the ocean again. That wasn't before they were splashed under by the dolphins. The entire group laughing and just having fun.

After they got dressed again they decided to get some drinks with the other couple. Both hiding underneath their caps and sunglasses. The beach bar being packed with people.

As the evening was falling upon them they said their goodbyes when they made their way towards their cars.

Max was putting on his seatbelt in their rental car as he sighed contently. "Thank you babe, today was amazing!" He said as he scanned the parking lot. Giving Charles a quick peck on his cheek as he saw nobody around. "I'm glad you liked it!" He smiled before they drove off on to the dark road. Humming quietly to their favourite songs on the radio on their way to their holiday home for a nice and quite evening cuddled up on the couch. Or at least that is what they had planned...
