A few hours later, Deidara, Sasori, Kisame, and Itachi woke up, feeling pain all over their bodies.
"Where's blossom, un?! She was there before we got knocked out, un!" Deidara said, freaking out. "Hn." Said Itachi as he stared next to his bed.
All four of them looked at his way and saw their Cherry blossom sleeping peacefully. The door opened to reveal Kakuzu. He looked at where they are staring only to see the pinkette.
"She'll be fine, she lost a lot of chakra from the battle. She should be awake within a day or two. If she heals fast then she should be awake within a few hours." Kakuzu said, inserting a food pill in Sakura's lips, making her swallow it.
"Orochimaru is planning something." Sasori said, shadow covering his eyes. "He did something to his followers. Zetsu did a research on one of the bodies and found out that Orochimaru fed them a certain poison that'll make them strong for a few hours, then kill them after a day or two of consuming the poison." Kakuzu said, he looked at Sasori unable to see his expression.
"I assume you know what kind of poison that is." Kakuzu said. Sasori nodded. "It takes a toll on the living body, disrupting your blood circulation, slowly eating away your brain cells then kill you within 24-36 hours." Sasori explained, looking at Sakura. 'I wasn't strong enough to protect you blossom.' He thought, feeling useless.
A few minutes later, Sakura slowly opened her eyes and sat up, groaning "My head hurts." She said. All five of them stared at her in shock. She looked at them weirdly before asking. "Why are you guys looking at me as if you saw a ghost?"
"How did you recover so fast?" Kakuzu asked in confusion. "I'm a medic. Healing is like a second nature to me. I heal even when I sleep." She said, standing up and made her way to the injured men.
"So tell me, where does it hurt?" Sakura said, putting on her lab coat. "You shouldn't be standing." Kakuzu said. "I know what I'm doing Kazu." Sakura said pouting.
All four of them shook their heads. "We'll let our body heal by themselves, un." Deidara said with a smile. Kisame nodded in agreement "Yeah, wouldn't want our body to get immune to your chakra, shrimp!" He said grinning.
Itachi nodded at this too, agreeing to the other two. Sasori smiled and said "I'm glad you're better blossom."
Sakura grinned at this and said "Who wants dinner?" Kakuzu sweat dropped at this and said "Sakura it's 5 am." Sakura blinked and said "Ohh, who wants breakfast?"
All of them except Sakura sighed and thought of the same thing 'It's like the battle never happened when Sakura's around.(un)'
