Akatsuki's Blossom

Chapter 8: Dangos for a Day

Itachi and Sakura returned from their mission. And as promised, Sakura made dangos for Itachi.

"What are you making blossom?" Sasori asked as he entered the kitchen. "I'm making dangos, puppet boy. It's a promise I made." Sakura said with a grin on her face.

"A promise?" Sasori asked, sitting with an apple at hand. "Hai!" Sakura said, happily nodding. She poked the sticks in each ball of dangos. (Sorry bout that. I actually don't know how to make dangos .-.) Sakura did the plating and put it in a bento. "Would you like one puppet boy?" Sakura asked, handing him a stick of dango.

Sasori gratefully took the stick and took a bite on the dango. His eyes widened. "This is good, blossom!" He said, finishing everything off. He stood up and said "Sorry blossom. The blonde brat and I have a mission to attend to."

Sakura nodded and said "Good luck with the mission!" Sasori nodded and walked out of the kitchen. Soon, Sakura did too, taking the bento box with her.

Sakura knocked on Itachi's door and heard a come in. She opened the door, and closed it behind her. "As promised Itachi. I made dangos." Sakura said with a smile on her face, handing him the bento.

Itachi gratefully accepted. Sakura turned to leave but was stopped. "Eat with me, blossom." Itachi said, opening the bento. He handed her a stick and ate one.

Sakura happily ate it and sat beside Itachi. Within seconds Itachi finished about 7sticks of dangos. Sakura sweat dropped at the scene and said "Wouldn't that ruin your appetite for dinner?"

Itachi shook his head no. "BLOSSOM-CHAN!! LEADER-CHAN WANTS TO SEE YOU! TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!!" Tobi shouted through out the whole base.

Sakura turned to Itachi only to see a nod, signaling her that she can go. "Ja ne, Weasel!" Sakura said, making her way to her leader's office.
