When we pull apart she fades a little.

Rose
"It's working!"

Ashanti
"Is there something else you've been holding back? Something you always wanted to ask me!"

Rose
"Why did you do it?"

Ashanti
"Kiss you?"

Rose
"Why did you kill yourself?"

Ashanti
"I thought it would be better if I was gone."

Rose
"Did you think about us?"

Ashanti
"No."

Rose
"You were happy that day. What happen to you for you to kill yourself?"

Ashanti
"After we got off the phone, I took a shower. When I got out I saw my mom reading my diary. We got into a huge argument. She call me a disappointment and told me she would send me to live with my grandparents."

Rose
"What was in the diary?"

Ashanti
"Songs, poem, my life story, my love for you."

Rose
"You love me?"

Ashanti
"I did at a point in time."

Rose
"Was it after our kiss?"

Ashanti
"Yes. I wanted our relationship to go further but I didn't want to risk it."

Rose
"I was scared too. I thought you regretted it."

Ashanti
"I didn't you will always be my honey and I will always be your butterfly."

Rose
"Is that why you killed yourself?"

Ashanti
"She left for work and I was drinking her Bacardi black. I wanted to get my mind off of what happened so I rip some of the pages out of my diary and went on Instagram to look at our old pictures when I saw I was in a group chat message. Diamond added me to our class group chat by accident or on purpose you never know with her."

Rose
"Wait. We had a class group chat?"

Ashanti
"Yes. Now as I was saying. When I was reading it, they were talking about the school year. Jason brought up us being raped." She squeeze her hands together looking down as the tears were pouring.

"They didn't believe that we were. That's when I was reliving the bullying in my head, but I kept reading what they were saying. That's when the diamond was saying it was my fault, I held you back, you wouldn't be in so much pain if it wasn't for me. They were laughing and screenshotting at how my eyes were rolling back. I logged out and went into my medicine cabinet to take my anti-depression pills. I laid down in bed drinking the rest. I like the way my body felt numb. I went to sleep and suddenly my body felt lighter when I woke up I saw my lifeless body on the bed."

Rose
"Why didn't you call me? I would've told you how I felt."

Ashanti
"Because I knew what you would say! 'It's not your fault. We didn't know each other before then. We were in this together and make it out together.'"

Rose
"Do you think if you would've called me, you would still be alive?"

Ashanti
"No. I was still going to drink myself to death. I was never happy. I smiled so you could. I didn't want you to worry about me anymore. I want you to live your life without me. Now look at you, happy, married, and have a whole support system."

Rose
"It's because of you...."

Ashanti
"No, it's not. I might have been your motivation but you put in the work to get where you are. Listen to me, you need to let me go. You need to live your life for yourself."

Rose
"Okay."

Aiden pov

Monica opens the door with a sad look on her face.

Monica
"Rose fell into a coma."

Aiden
"Then get it her out of it!"

Monica
"That's not how that works. Her vitals and everything is normal...."

Aiden
"Normal!? Normal would her being able to leave this hospital!"

Monica
"Calm down."

Aiden
"She's slipping away isn't she?" She doesn't respond "When do you believe she will wake up?"

Monica
"I don't know. It could take weeks, months, even years."

Aiden
"Can I see her?"

Monica
"Let me get a wheelchair." She was gone for less than 2 minutes. She helps me sit and push me to a new room. "We had to move her to keep a closer eye on her."

I just see her lifeless body laying there connected to the wire. She looks peaceful yet disturbed. "Think of it like she's alive but unconscious. If you want to talk to her she can hear you."

I couldn't I just wanted to stay by her side as she gets better. All I could do is stare at her thinking it was my fault. Marie and the others come into the room with gifts, flowers, and cards. They all circle the bed looking at her in her thoughts. I felt myself move, I was startled at first until I look back seeing it was Tita. She moves me into my room closing the door.

Tita
"I'm going to tell you this because I feel like you need to know."

Aiden
"Okay?"

Tita
"Rose is with her first love getting closure."

Aiden
"How do..."

Tita
"I had a dream but that's beside the point. I want you to get closure too."

Aiden
"Jasmine already came by."

Tita
"Did she get closure or you?"

Aiden
"I-I don't know?"

Tita
"Get closure and some help so I can have more grandbabies ."

Aiden
"I will."

She leaves me alone in the room with my thoughts. I grab everything getting ready to check out of the hospital. I call Sebastian to come to get me. I went to the counter to get my discharge papers so I can fix this situation and myself before she woke up.

When I got to get in the SUV I start reading the papers Jasmine left. It's about the money transfer. It was broken into four accounts with one of them being Jasmines. It was also screenshots between her and my mother. As I was reading the screenshots it was nothing about the sex tapes just her doing little things, like popping up at events and such. I decided to call Jasmine.

Aiden
"Why isn't there anything about the sex tapes?"

Jasmine
"Well hello to you too. What do you want to know about it?"

Aiden
"How did you get it and who did you send it to?"

Jasmine
"Your mom sent me a flash drive that she got in the mail. It didn't have an address or anything but a note. And as far as who I sent it to I don't know. When I try to call the number back all the voicemail."

Aiden
"Send me the number."

I hung up and call a business partner.
