Chapter Thirty-One

The days passed and I somehow survived only having two hours in the kitchen a day. I learned how to bribe Trinity and Andie to grab me snacks when I got hungry. I still totally and completely blamed Louis, though. As the weekdays went by, the dates did as well. And when each boy took his group, the other four boys stayed at the house with the rest of the girls.. Interesting things occur. Such as the fact that I was starting to see Zayn and Louis as friends.

Yeah, I still blamed Louis for my kitchen limit, but he was so easy to talk to. Plus Zayn, Louis and I made a great prankster team. It became quite well known in the past four days that if something in the house had gone amiss, it was either Louis, Zayn or I's doing. 

The fake spiders found in Simone's room? Might have been us.

The pool turning pink? Louis might have accidentally dropped a ton of food coloring into it.. With Zayn and I's help, of course.

All the coffee tables in the house getting turn upside down? We had gotten just a bit bored.

Every time the three of us were together, I could pretty much hear the entire crew going 'aw, crap!'

Niall had been keeping away from me for the most part, only passing glances and smiles coming my way. Liam and I had some conversations, mostly in passing. Then Harry would pester me every so often. But all five had girls at the snap of their fingers. So I mainly stayed to myself, or hung out with Trinity and Andie. But before we knew it, the time had passed by and it was Sunday night again. Another day to learn who would stay and who would go. It was also going to be the announcement of the final five. I had a hard time believing I had been there for over a month. 

"Al!" My name could be heard as it got called repeatedly from outside my door.

I groaned and yelled back to Trinity, "Shuttup! I'm listening to Legaci! No one messes with my Legaci time."

"Yeah, well I have pretty huge news to tell you!" She yelled back, just as loud. It had become our thing. When you see someone every single day for five weeks straight, you learn exactly how to push their buttons. And how to get them to listen to you. She barged into my room. "I have a chocolate chip muffin as a peace offering. Now will you pleeeeeeease listen to what I have to say?"

"Only because my two hours is up and I'm starving," I paused my computer and grabbed the muffin. I then shifted my body so I was looking at the brown-haired beauty while munching on the yumminess. "Talk."

"So.. As you know, Zayn took me and Teresa to the beach-"

"Wait," I interrupted, "Are you not going to tell Andie?"

"She's with Jules right now.. Figured I'd tell her later. Now, are you going to let me finish?" Trinity gave me a look and I rolled my eyes before nodding. "We had a lot of fun. Zayn's so easy to talk to and I feel like we just really get along. Teresa went to the bathroom, so it was just Zayn and I. We started talking about previous relationships, how we got there I don't even know, but he was talking about how his girlfriend broke up with him over a month ago."
