Evelyn's POV:

It was the next morning and we weren't in the living room anymore. I had woken up in my room. I slowly slid of my bed. Grabbing Mr. Snuggles as well. I opened the door and listened.

"Yeah that a perfect time. Yeah thank you for understanding. Okay bye." Mommy sounded like she was downstairs. So I headed to the STAIRS.

I haven't gone down the stairs before. Mommy usually carries me. I gulped.

"Mum- MOMMY"

Elizabeth's POV:

"Yeah that a perfect time. Yeah thank you for understanding. Okay bye." I ended my call. They had rescheduled the meeting. Thank god they did. I just finished making Eve her bottle.

I also had order something. I decided to try it. I been more skin to skin contact. I would feel like a mom well more like mom. Since I wasn't with Eve for 3 years.

"MOMMY!"

I hear Eve yell. I quickly turn around. I make my way towards the stairs.

"What is it baby" I was about to go up the stairs when I looked up. There was Eve standing holding Mr. Snuggles. I instantly knew why she had called me. She couldn't go down the stairs. I decided to take three more steps. I opened my arms.

"You can do it baby. Its okay, I'm here. I got you." She let out a little whine. Then she moved her leg on the second stair. She put her hand on the stairwell.

She was on the second step now. Then she looked back at me. I sent her a reassuring smile. After a while she took two more steps.

"Come one your almost there" I said as I went down a step. She shoke her head. I went up again.

"I can't."

"Yes you can. You just did it."

"No, no more" I giggled at her. I went up the stairs to where she was. Scoped her in my arms. And started to pepper her with kisses. She giggled.

"You did so well. Did you see yourself. I'm so proud of you" She smiled and then huged me. I made my way towards the kitchen. I grabed the bottle of milk and made sure it was warm enough.

"Here you go baby."

"Tank you" I smiled at her and kissed her head. I still was holding her. I started to clean the counter. She then tugged at my shirt and pointed towards the back door.

I walked towards the door trying to figure out what she is point out. Until I see the squirrel on the grass. She points at it again kicking her legs.

"Look"

"Yeah I see that. Do you know what the animal is called?" She shakes her head. "Its called a squirrel. Can you say it"

"Squ-sq"

"Oh you almost, squirrel"

"Squwal" I laugh at her attempt on saying squirrel. She gives me her bottle since she is finished. I put on the sick and make my eay upstairs to change.

Its been a couple hours later. My sister's were coming over in 10 minutes. I still haven't told Eve who us coming.

Ash:
Hey we are almost there. Currently getting something to drink. Want anything?

Me:
Hey. No its okay.

Ash:
Alright. See you in a few mintues.

After a while they both arrived. I greeted them. They both were really excited to see Evelyn. She was currently sitting down "coloring".
