Karrueche Tran Interview with Iyanla Vanzant.. My Thoughts

I'm quite sure most of ya'll know how I feel with Karrueche's and Chris's relationship so I'm not even gone waste time going into detail about that. I start by simply saying I like the girl, she's gorgeous as hell and mostly focuses on positivity which we need more on in the world so when I saw she was doing an interview with Iyanla I thought finally someone is gonna let her share her side of the story and where she comes from.

We hear from Chris all the damn time, we heard from Rihanna but no one has never really asked this girl what happened. The world assumed she's just some easy chick that was charmed by Chris' fame, money, and the penis lol and just lets him do whatever. But who is she really? What does she have to say?

Come Saturday night I was lowkey excited too hear what this interview was gonna be like but I was let down. Basically I'm familiar with what Iyanla normally does on her show Fix My Life. She points out your problems within yourself, your family, etc and looks everyone involved take a look in the mirror to see what really is behind the mask they have placed on. No judgements are placed but owning up to your faults is a big part of the show.

She didn't use this approach with Kae.. she came in the door with  hidden agenda that basically set the tone for the entire interview. She wanted Kae to say how big of a monster Chris was and how much she regrets ever being in a relationship with him. She tried to get Karrueche to say that basically you knew what she was getting into cause look what type of abuse he put Rihanna through. She kinda was trying to put words in her mouth but regardless Kae said a word bashing or shaming Chris.

Her point was that she just wished that he would change for the better cause he's not a bad person at all but he is damaged and she just wanted to help fix him the best way she could. Basically she was stating that sometimes she sacfriced her happiness to stay by his side and be the love in his life that she thought he needed. Problem with that is while she said she knows Chris loves her while his damage gets in the way and he can't grant her the same type of love she gives him.

Typical problem and everyone who isn't busy blaming her or taking sides period can see that. The biggest mistake women make in relationships is trying to heal or change a man who has to change his self. If that man doesn't want to change not for you but for his self than no matter what you do, say or how much you mean to him he still will stay the same.

I feel like the conversation could have been better and Iyanla herself could have dug deeper than reaching for answers that weren't there. The interiew was supposed to focus on her feelings but instead she tried to make it about Chris. Yes, it was about their relationship and we all know who she is because of him however it felt like Iyanla was attacking her in response to not having Chris there. Like you can still she wanna be the old auntie to whip that high yellow nigga in shape lol! The kind to basically rip Chris a new asshole and tell him about his self but not in an encouraging way in you know what I mean.

By the middle of the interview Karrueche's team had to step in and be like this isn't what we brought you here for.. You're here to talk to Karrueche about how she feels basicallt try to play her into bad mothing her Ex regardless of how the relationship ended. Then we got somewhere, Iyanla asked her about the infamous love triangle and Kae said that she knew that Chris was back hanging around Rih as like acquanitances/friends cause that was the lie he fed her and she believed it.

Partly that's naive as hell and I would've been like my nigga Im ya friend you don't need no more TF!! But thinking on about it, I feeel like her biggest mistake in their relationship is the fact that she trusted that nigga too much and he took it for granted. Ya'll she said that she was chilling with him in his condo of Christmas 2012 I think that was and the an told her it had to hit somewhere up real quick .. next thing she knows he's at the Laker game all up boo'ed up with Rihanna. Wearing matching outfits and shit! I wouldn've burnt his f*cking house down seriously cause I'd be mad as hell & wouldn't care cause obvously his stupid ass didn't.

He played her for boo boo the fool cause he was chasing behind a love that had ran it's course as well as crashed and burnt to a crisp.

FYI: Ya'll that means that Rih was sidechick *cough cough* cause he was still with Kae had been his girl for around a year and some before the choas started. Just a conclusion drawn from everyone's story cause I listen to them all. That love triangle was like the talk of the year and my lil high school ass wanted to know then why Chris and Rih wold go back to each other after they almost ended their careers being together in the first place, ya know? Sh*t didn't make sense to be and it still doesn't.

My view on the interview is that Iyanla didn't come with it the right way and it cost her what would have been an amazing interview if approached correctly.

Karrueche still gotta speak her dman mind more and not letpeople fill in her silence with their own assumptions. I understand that cause I've been mostly reserved my whole life as well like if it's not neccessary I don't go out of my way to make sure people understand or like me. If they don't like me cause I don't run around trying to get everyone to like me then they don't like me. Oh well I'll live lol. I don't talk to everyone cause most people never give me a reason to., I'm not stuck up but stand offish cause it's back stabbers every where and that's the best way to shield yourself from the drama.

I just have to pace myself with writing and school work this week so in the next two weeks or so everything will be updated.
