Dakota Part 1

"Okay you have everything right?" Leo says as I'm packing up my suitcase

"Yes I'm very sure I do."

"Okay let's get the fuck out of here"

We head downstairs to the front desk.

"Okay Dakota here are your discharge papers, just sign the highlighted portions and I'll fax it to the address indicated."

I sign a total of 9 papers.
My lawyer has read them before I was to leaving so I know what to sign.

"Okay Dakota you're off on your own now. Good Luck"

"Thank you so much for everything and for the whole Jamie situation"

"Oh no problem, thank you for the signed merchandise"

"No problem"

I walk towards Leo "ready?" He asks

"Yes, you?"

"Hell yes baby girl"

We walk arm and arm to the vehicle that is to take me home.

"Thank you for letting me stay at your place for a while" Leo tells me once were in the car heading to my place

"No problem, I can't imagine being with out you my little pea in the pod" I smile
He laughs "ewww green isn't my color"
"Can we stop by the pharmacy I need to pick up my medicine for my anxiety"

"Of course" I tell him.

We're at CVS and while Leo gets his medication I wonder off into the food isle and pick out some snacks.
I throw a bag of Hot Cheetos and a box of popcorn.
Then I go to the refrigerator and pick out a box of Coronas.
Ugh beer yes.

I head to the pharmaceutical section
"Is it ready?" I ask

"N- Samantha?" He walks past me

"Leo you're out ?" she says

I turn and see a tall blonde female hug him.

"Oh my god, how are you here?"

"I came back from Hawaii a couple days ago. Enough of the coconut drinks in my hand and the ocean breeze in my face, I needed city noise and a hotdog from Pinks and now I'm here ... well for Christmas next week as well."

"Oh" his face falls "how's mom and dad?"

"They're fine."

"Have they asked about me?"

"Leo...."

"Never mind don't answer that . Let me introduce to you someone"

"Samantha this is ... Uh.... Mayi, Mayi this is Samantha my cousin"

"Hi" I shake her hand and fix my sunglasses hiding my face

"Is that your?-"

"No sadly for the family I'm still gay"

"Leo don't-" she hugs him "I've missed you"

"Me too Sam" he hugs her harder and tears spring from his eyes "Ewww stop my eyes are getting puffy" he laughs and wipes his eyes "We need to catch up"

"How about now I've got time? You can bring your friend there this really nice cafe down the block on sunset."

Leo turns to me
"No you go ahead, I promised Jamie I'd be home after his convention"

"You sure?" He asks

"Yes go... You have my address and number now go have fun"

He smiles "thanks baby girl"
He grabs his medicine, pays and heads out.

I'm in line and I take my phone out of my pocket to check the time
Uhhhh fuck it's dead. I knew I should have charged it last night.

I pay and head to the car

I head through the main door of the apartment building and I see .... Amelia ?
What the fuck does she want

"Dakota? Nice to see you here "

"I live here"

She smiles

"What are you doing here ? Jamie said you left"

"That's what you both thought but I wanted to wait for you to get out"

"For what?"

She smiles

"Leave before I call someone" I warn her

She smirks and hugs me surprisingly
"Surprise " she whispers in my ear and I push her back and she walks out the building

Fuck Jamie's right, she's fucken crazy

I ride the elevator to my floor and walk up to my door
"Ahhhh home sweet home"

I unlock the door, walk in and drop my suitcase on the floor and place my keys on the kitchen counter.

"Hi Dakota"

I turn around quickly
As soon as I do I yelp and my stomach flips and my throat immediately drys up.

"Missed me ?"
