Fandom: Merlin
Okay... it's been a hot minute since I've watched Merlin, so I won't have any specifics, but here's the general idea of the character.
Aristolia is Arthur's twin sister. Their mother died during complications in their pregnancy so she blames herself for the queen's death.
She and Merlin become close friends, to the point that Merlin will hide in her chambers to avoid being found while sneaking around at night. She learns about Merlin's magic early on and keeps his secret to protect him.
She taught herself how to sword fight and can rival any of Camelot's knights, even Arthur. She hates formality and sneaks along on hunts with Arthur sometimes.
Her guilt over her mother's death keeps her up at night, but Merlin manages to help her work through it and let go. He also uses magic to help her sleep.
She may hate being treated like a royal, but there are times that she certainly acts like one. (She'll walk into Gaius' shop unannounced and make herself at home.)
Yes, I've considered making her Merlin's love interest, but... IDK.
