I opened my eyes. I looked around. I was in the throne room in Polis. I squinted my eyes. Clarke was beneath me. Abby was in her lap.

"What's going on?" I asked. Clarke didn't respond. "Clarke?" I asked standing up. I went to touch her shoulder. Abby sat up and Clarke talked to her. My hand phased through Clarke's shoulder. I looked around. There were figures surrounding me.

"What is this?" I asked. They walked toward me. "What the hell?" I said backing up. One of them took off their hood. "Lexa?" I asked. She smiled slightly. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Meet the commanders before you," She said. I looked around.

"What do you mean before me?" I asked. She smiled.

"You're the new commander, Xania kom Skaikru," She said. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"No, no... I took the flame to stop Allie." I said. She nodded.

"They killed you," She said.

"What?" I asked. She tilted her head.

"You didn't know? Your father shot you after you took the flame. He let you bleed to death" She said. I stumbled slightly. I let out a shaky breath.

"Clarke?" I asked. She pointed behind me. I turned. Clarke was sitting on the Throne. She had a blood transfuser in her arms. She had the flame in her head. I clenched my jaw.

"It seems you have a guardian angel, Xania," Lexa said. I turned around.

"What do you mean?" I asked. She turned to the other commanders.

"First we all have something to tell you," Another Commander said. She walked forward. I tilted my head.

"Becca?" I asked. She smiled.

"Come on a walk with me," She said. I nodded and followed her.

"I believe your friend will stop Allie. I need you to do something first." She said. I looked at her.

"What is it?" I asked. She sighed.

"You, Xania are special." She said. I looked at her.

"I am aware," I said with a chuckle. She sighed.

"I don't mean by being from Skaikru and being a  nightbleeda." She said. I continued listening.

"I believe you are the key." She said stopping and turning. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Did you believe that it was just a coincidence that you survived this long?" She said smiling. I looked at her. "That through everything you came out barely unscathed?" She said. I blinked trying to understand. "You still don't get it." She said with a slight chuckle.

"Let me put it into perspective for you," A dark male's voice said. He grabbed my shoulder and turned me. I was suddenly in a chair. A chess table was in front of me. He gestured for me to play. I gulped and moved my pawn forward. One of his eyes were scratched out. It had badly been scarred.

"Sheidheda. The dark commander" I said. He smiled.

"Guilty," He said. He was looking at the board. "What Becca failed to put in perspective for you was that you, Xania cannot die. You are what they told us as children about. 'The Messheda'. In your language... The Messia Commander" He said. I furrowed my eyebrows. He moved a chess piece. I looked at the board. I moved my queen.

"Checkmate," I said. He smiled.

"Very good," He said clapping. The claps slowly faded away with the chair and table. I looked around.

"Kemji... Maffeli" I said looking at the commanders in front of me. They stared at me. They both walked forward. They put their hands on my shoulders. Everything faded to white.

I opened my eyes. I sat up. I coughed up blood. I looked around. Pain gathered in my right thigh. I looked down. There was a bullet hole. I stuck my fingers into my leg. I pulled out the bullet. I groaned and threw it onto the ground. I could hear people groaning around me. There were people scattered along the floor. I looked around. Clarke was on the throne. I fell off of the stand I was on. I groaned.

"Ow," I said.

"Xania?" I heard someone asked. I looked up. It was my father. He sobbed and flipped me onto my back. I coughed up blood.

"get her on her side," Abby said. I looked around.

"Where's Clarke?" I asked.

"I'm here," Clarke said. I looked over at her. I smiled slightly.

"Told you... I wouldn't break our promise," I said laughing slightly. I groaned at the pain in my chest. She inhaled a shaky breath and brushed my hair out of my face.

"You're gonna be okay," She said.

A/N- Okay please don't be upset at the whole... Messheda thing, please. I know it's a bit of a fetch but it was the only thing my tiny brain could make of it. Anyways end of season three. yay...
