Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

Pretty interesting. This is a short story, correct?
There are no definite errors, so really, I will just tell you my favourite part.
The very last paragraph really... It's just so... fascinating how she communicated with another being through a mirror! How she died because of the mirror. Hm, if her parents are so supersticious, then WHY did her father break the mirror? Who sent it? And most improtantly...why?
