June woke up and it was dark. His phone was dark as well, but he tapped the screen, and it showed him that he was still in a call with Tommy.

"Tommy?" June whispered.

"G'morning," Tommy whispered back.

June blinked away some blurriness, and yawned. "It's four in the morning, wow."

"We really just slept twelve hours," Tommy said.

June hummed in agreement. "Well, I'm still tired, so maybe I can go for another twelve."

"..That's probably not healthy," Tommy said hesitantly.

"Maybe I want to go into a coma," June mused. "It's not like you could really stop me."

"You're right, but why?"

June groaned lightly. "Do I sound like I get enough sleep on a daily basis?"

Tommy huffed in amusement. "Not really, but you never know."

June snorted. "What does that mean?"

"I dunno!" Tommy let out a breathy laugh. "I'm still tired."

"Me too. But I should take advantage of being up early and have breakfast and shower before anyone else is up," June muses.

"But why get up when we can just relax together?" Tommy asked, his voice a little muffled, presumably by his pillow.

June hummed, considering it. "That sounds amazing, actually."

"What's your favourite color?" Tommy asked.

"What? Why?"

"I dunno, I wanna get to know you a little," Tommy mumbled sheepishly.

June smiled. "You don't have to be so nervous, Tommy."

"Pff, I'm not nervous," Tommy said nervously.

June smirked. "Right. You're not nervous and I'm best friends with my mom."

"Well it's great you have a nice relationship with her," Tommy said pleasantly.

June sighed. "Tommy, I was being sarcastic."

Tommy frowned. "I know, I was too."

June knew he'd put a dampener on their cheerful moods, so he changed the subject. "How about you try to guess my favourite color?"

"Alright! Uhh, red?"

June smiled. "Yeah, it's red."

"Wait, really?"

"Mhm."

"Oh, I'm so good at this! It's like we're psychic!"

"Clown to clown communication," June suggested.

Tommy chuckled. "Clown to clown communication."

June pumped his fist in the air. "Hell yeah! We're the coolest clowns."

"The poggest."

"The least warm."

"What?" Tommy asked, laughing.

"Y'know, warm is the opposite of cool, so the least warm would be cool," June explained.

"Ohh, I see. Very smart, I must say."

"Oh yeah, this is big brain time," June said, smiling.

"Oh yeah, it's all coming together."

"We should watch that together."
