A bit of background
Jamila lives with her brother Antonio, he is a co-leader of the Santos. She is the youngest out of three siblings. Antonio the oldest, Daniela, then her. Daniela moved into the city to focus on her career as an artist, she does really well for herself with her paintings. Jamilas father was never in the picture, she shares the same father as her siblings. But he left them while Jamilas mother was pregnant with her. He was a big drug and alcohol abuser. Jamilas mother died when she was 6, she could barely remember her mother but she remembered bits and pieces. She lives next door to Oscar and Cesar Diaz. Their father and Jamilas mother were the former co-leaders before it was passed down to Oscar and Antonio.
