Chapter 115: Party

Y/N's POV

We came back to the school. We were on our way back to our room. Lee and Kenny went to their own separate rooms.

AJ: I like James. He's cool and tough. Not like you guys. But he doesn't kill monsters, but he's also not scared of them.

We saw Ruby in the hallway.

Ruby: Hey guys. Willy informed us about the plan. I hope you guys have good news about that walker guy.

Y/N: James. He's helping us.

Ruby: If anyone ever told me that we were going to sneak onto a boat via walkers, I'd call them insane.

AJ: What are you doing with those pillows?

Ruby: I'm gonna be throwing a hootenanny for us before we fight tomorrow.

AJ: Is that a swear?

Y/N: No, it's not.

Clementine: It just means party.

Ruby: Everyone needs their spirits lifted up right now.

Y/N: For our possibly last day alive. I say sure.

Ruby: Can I use that heater thing of yours? I want to make tea for everyone.

Clementine: Yeah. We'll fetch for you.

AJ: Can I help?

Ruby: Sure! We'll need decoration for the old music room.

AJ goes inside our room as me and Clem follow him. He starts drawing as we get the heater.

AJ: I finished.

He shows us the drawing.

Clementine: Not bad, kiddo.

Y/N: You'll be as good as Tenn if you keep this up.

AJ: I don't think I can be good as Tenn.

He then frowns.

Y/N: What's wrong AJ?

AJ: I was thinking about stuff.... While I was drawing. There are three kinds of eyes. Alive eyes, dead people eyes, and alive before you kill them, like what you did to Abel. Like someone blew out a candle. He's a bad guy, but I feel bad about it.

Clementine: That's okay. It means you're a good person.

AJ: I've been getting real smart. Because I'm always thinking.

Y/N: About what?

AJ: All of you getting bit, and turning into monsters.

Me and Clem were both shocked to hear that.

Clementine: Oh.

AJ: The older I get, I see it more and more. What happens then.

Y/N: We've talked about this. If any of us gets bit...

AJ: I don't want to talk about this anymore.

Clementine: Well, you brought it up, so we are.

AJ: It makes my stomach feel weird, like when I get the dookies.

Clementine: If one of us gets bit, you have to shoot us.

AJ: No! I'm not gonna do that!

Y/N: AJ, you promised!

AJ: I don't care! I'm not gonna shoot you guys!

Y/N: AJ! You will!

AJ: I don't want to! If you guys got bit, I would want to get bit, too.
