Chapter 61: Losing AJ

Y/N's POV

We joined the New Frontier. But they didn't help AJ at all. They keep saying that they did what they could, but we knew that was bullshit. Me and Clem are planing on getting AJ medicine. Everyone else would be distracting them.

Y/N: It's clear.

Clem was carrying AJ as we were sneaking over.

Clementine: We're gonna get you that medicine.

We see Lingard sleeping, he was probably high again. I look at everything.

Y/N: Clem.

Clementine: What?

Y/N: It has to be a shot.

Clementine: Oh no.

Lingard wakes up and sees us.

LIngard: Clem? Y/N?

Clementine: Lingard?

Y/N: Hey.

Lingard: I told you it won't help him. Please put it back.

Y/N: No. I'm doing this.

Clem tried keeping AJ distracted as I injected him. But it didn't work. AJ started crying. Causing everyone, including our leader David to come over.

David: What's going on here. Are you high again Lingard?

He then sees us.

David: We told you that wouldn't work! You two just cost someone's life in the future!

Y/N: It is working! Look, it's helping!

Lingard: That didn't help him. You just gave him a peaceful moment. Nothing more.

Clementine: Then it's worth it! We would do it again!

David: Without a care of anyone else!

He looks at everyone else distracting him.

David: And you all helped them! We welcomed you all with open arms! We made you a part of us! This is how you repay us! By stealing! You are all done here!

Kenny: Fine. We don't need you anyways.

Lee: Let's go.

As we were walking, David stopped us.

David: Nope. The kid stays.

We look at him.

Clementine: No!

Y/N: Don't you fucking dare!

Kenny: STAY BACK YOU SHITBIRD!

Lee: You don't want to do this!

The the New Frontier surrounds us and takes AJ from us.

Clementine: NO!!!! YOU MONSTERS!!!!!!

We show them our brand.

Carley: What was all of this for then! Don't forget! We are one of you!

Ana: Come on David. They can a least say goodbye.

Her voice was cracking as she was almost crying. I hold AJ's hand.

Y/N: I will miss you goofball. Very very much.

I say that last part with my voice cracking. Everyone else said their goodbyes. Then the New Frontier takes us out.

AJ: Clem. Y/N.

Me and Clem looked at him shocked due to his first words. But heartbroken because we won't see him again.
