Chapter 104: Back to the school

Y/N's POV

We are walking back to the school with James. Clem is carrying AJ, but she looks exhausted.

James: Is he awake?

Clementine: Yeah. He's so hot.

Y/N: Clem, I can take him if you want.

Clementine: No. I-I got him.

I didn't like seeing Clem like this, but she wanted to help AJ. AJ then groaned.

AJ: Hurts.

Clementine: We are almost there. Hang in there.

We make it to the gate, we see Willy take out his bow on the guard tower.

Willy: Walker!

He shoots an arrow right next to James, which made James flinch, but then Willy sees us.

Willy: Violet! Louis! They came back!

Willy then runs off. I turn to James.

Y/N: You live out here alone, right? You could stay with us.

James looks at the arrow shot at him, then at me.

James: Not ready.

He walks away. Clem is still struggling to keep AJ up in her arms.

Y/N: Clem, come on, let me carry him!

Clementine: No Y/N! I got him!

We walk towards the gate. We see Louis walking towards the gate and see us. Clem then fell on her knees.

Y/N: Clem!

I run to her and get on my knee, the rest of the group does as well. Louis also runs over.

Louis: Shit, is he...?

Lee: He's alive. He was shot. He's got a fever.

Louis: Let's get him inside.

Kenny: Can you take him?

Louis: Yeah, don't worry, I got him.

Louis picks him up and walks inside. I look at Clem.

Y/N: Are you okay?

Clementine: I-I'm fine.

I decide to pick her up bridal style and start walking inside. She was shocked at my sudden action, but then she relaxed in my arms.

Clementine: Y/N?

Y/N: Yeah?

I continue to walk.

Clementine: You don't have to do this.

Y/N: You are exhausted Clem. I hate seeing you like that.

Clementine: I-I love you.

I chuckle a little.

Y/N: I love you too.

We get inside the Admin building. Louis still has AJ while Ruby is looking at her. Violet sees me and walks over.

Violet: Is she okay?

Y/N: She's fine, she's just tired.

Ruby: I have what I need upstairs.

We followed her with Clem still in my arms and AJ still in Louis's arms.

Lee: We got the shrapnel out.

Ruby: Good.

Kenny: We weren't alone though.

We make it upstairs. Louis sets AJ on a couch. Ruby feels his forehead.
