My phone is ringing and I’m in the kitchen so I asked Allen to get it.
“Hello?…no…who is this?….really?”
“Fuck you want?”Chris asked belligerently
“Naw he don’t want to talk to you”
“I don’t know what he is doing with her.”
“Fuck Lauri”
“Yea uh-huh okay Bye!”
He tossed my phone and saw me walking toward the couch.
“Who was that?”
“Nicole”
“Why did she call me?”
Chris and Allen shrugged but Chris looked like he had something to say.
“Spit it out..”
“Whats going on with you and ‘bruisy’?”Chris asked.
He use to call her that because she was covered in bruises or bruised easily.
“To be honest I don’t know”
Allen gave me that nigga-you-lyin’ look and I raised an eyebrow.
“Lauri told Nicole over twitter and mention ‘Twiggy’ basically saying you all are together.
My first thought was to laugh because he hasn’t called Carmen Twiggy in a long time since she started gaining weight.
“We haven’t named it,it might not be anything to name.”
I know its obviously something but Chris will have that shit in the newspaper.
They stared at me for a few minutes then went back to the t.v.

In the last 3 days Maxine has been pissed off at me for some reason,that I have yet to identify.I use to try to stay late for do extra work but Maxine is on my tail whenever I move so I made a decision to leave as soon as I can.
My car started and I saw Maxine staring at me in the building window it made me shift in my seat.
Brooke sent my a message I checked before pulling out the parking lot.
To Carmen:Could you come to my house?
From Carmen:Why….
To Carmen:I’m bored
From Carmen:So…
To Carmen:Could you just please come here?
From Carmen:Sure..
She was standing at the door when I arrived.
“Whats with the with the one work responses and the periods?”she said oviosly annoyed.
“Sorry”I pulled out my phone and typed.
Brooke looked at her phone and grimaced,
From Carmen:…
"That is not funny"she said while closing the door.
"It kind of was."
I sat in her girly living room(it is all pink and hello kitty) and she joined me with a questioning look.
“So how are things?”
“Okay I guess”I shrugged
“Anything new going on?”
“Nope”
“Are we going to do this?”
“Do what?”
“Dance around the subject”
“What subject?”
“Ugh you and Trey whats going on?”
I’ve gotten to know Brooke since I’ve met her and we are cool,but she asked for more than I’ve willing to tell.
“Nothing”
“Really? just nothing…it obvious you two like each other.You should so something about it..Its Trey Songz.”
I raised both eyebrows.
“We are just friends….” I think…
“Lies! I already know about you two kissing after I left”
My face must have heated up because she started grinning.
“How did you find out?”
“You just told me”She had a full blown smile.
“Oh..”I said sheepishly
“Oh..what are you?”
“Friends”
“Nothing more?”
“Doubt it….”
She dropped the conversation and we ate and watched t.v.

Chris is rude as hell I just wanted to talk to Trey.
Ugh maybe I just need to go over there and talk face to face.
What I have to say isn’t really something you say over the phone.
I’m praying for us to get back together but I don’t know if god will still answer to me.
