"Did you steal this!?" Clover squeaked.

"Hey come on, what do you think I am? A delinquent?" I replied.

I glanced over to Clover and she folded her arms.

"Do you really want the answer to that?"

I dramatically gasped and moved my hand over my chest.

"How dare you. I'll have you know, I won this fair and square."

"Did you bet on Drake?" The priestess spoke up.

She got up and skipped over to us. Her eyes locked onto my hoodie pocket once she turned around. Staring at my winnings that were bursting at the seams. The guards quickly followed her lead and stared daggers at me.

"Yeah, I was rooting for Dragon breath down there. Looks like it paid off." I chuckled.

A smile formed onto her lips and she looked down to the floor.

"Thank you."

I nodded.

"Well, what now? There some ceremony to swear in your new protector?" I asked.

She looked back up to me, and I could see a twinkle in her eyes.

"Yes! It should be a huge feast! And-"

'JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ALL THE WAY!'

 That was Jack's ringtone...

"Uh, my bad, one second."

I took out my phone and answered it.

"Yo!"

"Where the hell are you at?" Jack blurted out.

"Ummm, the Kokiri forest."

"Oh? So you wanted to skip out on training so you can run around with some nymphs huh?"

"Wait there was training today!?"

"There's training every other day numbnuts. Don't worry about it though. I'm sure Stryder would be pleased to know his money is being well spent."

"Hey chill! Just give me like twenty minutes, alright? It's family stuff."

"The family that abandoned you and tried to feed you to the Tenebris?"

Ouch.

"Yes, that family."

"Ah, well, your funeral."

Then all I heard was the click of him hanging up.

"Dick.." I muttered.

"Hhhmm? Is everything alright?" Clover asked.

"Ah, yeah, totally." I said with a forced chuckle. "Anyways, where is this food at?"

"There will be no feast today." A woman's voice seemed to crawl out from the doorway.

We all turned and watched an old elf woman walk in. She looked really familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. My eyes raced over her, and I noticed she was wearing a lavender kimono. Huh, didn't think the elves were the cultural type.

"Lady Sapientia!" Clover squeaked and quickly bowed.

I glanced over to the priestess, and she and the guards were bowing too. Guess she was a big deal. I looked back to the lady and that's when I noticed her gigantic ears, and that's when it hit me. It's the lady who was training Clover!

"Oh! Old lady Zelda!"

The women glared at me and grumbled. I just met her glare with a smile.
