I look to the doors and see my mother.
Mother - So, Jason Blossom, is the special guy you dressed up for.
Laura - Shut up, I'm still mad at you.
I walk off and find the group. I see no one is here. I call Jug.
Jughead - Hey what's up?
Laura - Um where are you guys?
Jughead - Betty isn't feeling it so I'm going to stay with her. Archie and Veronica just left, they should be there soon.
Laura - Ok see you later. Tell Betty I love her and all my condolences go to her and her family.
Jughead - Will do... Can you save me some cake Angela said she's making some.
Laura - Sure, see you at home.
We hang up. Archie and Veronica arrive.
Laura - Hey guys.
Archie - Hi Laura.
Laura - I know today is not the day, so I'll give space.
Veronica - You're too sweet. Betty isn't herself right now. Archie and I are going to talk to, well, your mother, if we could do something for her.
Laura - Sounds good. Be careful, my mother and I are mad at each other right now.
Archie - Understandable. Also Vee and I are leaving before lunch, someone we have to see.
Laura - Oh, ok. See you later?
Veronica - Yeah. Maybe at Pop's.
Laura - Maybe.
With that we go to class. Boring as always.
