Quinlan Kingston, the black swan of the Phantomhive estate, knows the secrets of the manor. She is aware of the contract between the butler and child earl. She knows the backgrounds of the servants. She knows all their secrets. 

The only way she is allowed to know such things and live is to keep the household safe. A skilled combat fighter and spy, Quinlan is made useful by becoming the parlor maid and guard for Ciel Phantomhive, head of the Phantomhive earldom. 

She only fears the curse set upon her and the horrors it will ensue in due time. Until then, the late night talking, the relaxing after chores and other secret moments of normalcy with the estate's demon will do well as a distraction from the imminent doom.

However, this little fiasco is far from romance. And yet she dares to dance with the devil with her inquiring: is this love or something else?

Sebastian Michaelis , the demon guardian is not actually just a demon here though he has the powers of a demon. He is a mixed of everything, so he's a hybrid.
