I never thought a spontaneous trip to Fiji would change my life. I was just Max Vito, a regular Hispanic- Italian guy from Havana Cuba looking to escape the city's noise. It sounded like the perfect way to experience something new, something beautiful, what I didn't expect was to find myself living with Aelia's family, surrounded by traditions I'd never known, in a place that felt more like home than anywhere else, from the moment I stepped into their world, I was welcomed with open arms. Aelia's family didn't just invite me to celebrate Diwali- They showed me what it meant to belong. They taught me the significance of lighting the Diyas to chase away the darkness, shared their stories of faith, hope, and renewal, and invited me into their nightly celebrations, where the air smelled of incents and the sounds of laughter echoed through the streets. As I learned about her family's traditions I realized I was also learning more about her. The festival was supposed to be a temporary stop, a quick visit before I returned to my old life. But as each day passed, I found myself questioning whether I could leave. Fiji had given me more than an adventure; it had given me a glimpse of something I didn't know I was missing. A place where traditions, love, and light filled the air. Now as the festival nears its end, I'm faced with a choice, go back to the life I knew, or stay in this Island Paradise where I've found more than just myself- I've found a family, a culture and maybe the love of my life.

On her last night out in Paris, her last destination before heading back home, London does what the old man told her to do and lives it up to the fullest, including a one night stand. Having missed his grandfather's funeral, Cuba heads out into the Paris streets to drown the sorrows of losing his grandfather and ends up having a one night stand with a beautiful woman. The last thing she expected was to see him at her doorstep three months later. Kayla fliegt mit ihrem Vater nach Kuba, um ihn auf seiner Geschäftsreise zu begleiten. Sie erhofft sich dadurch etwas Ruhe und Zeit für sich. Auf dem Weg dorthin passiert nicht sehr viel und sie macht sich schon bereit für die endlos langen Nächte, in denen sie Bücher lesen oder mit hübschen Jungen faszinierende Sonnenuntergänge ansehen kann. Die Landebahn ist schon in Sicht und zum Greifen so nah,wie ihre Tagträumereien, als plötzlich alles anfängt zu ruckeln und sich wenig später um sie herum alles verdunkelt. Das Letzte, was sie mitbekommt ist, wie sich die Notausgangstür direkt neben ihr unter dem Landen öffnet und ein Teil ihres Gepäcks hinausgeschleudert wird--- Kayla kommt zu sich und findet pures Chaos vor. Das Flugzeug ist anscheinend in einen plötzlichen Sturm geflogen und wurde dabei stark beschädigt. Viele Dinge fehlen und Kayla erinnert sich daran, dass die Türen geöffnet waren und ihre Sachen weggeflogen sind. Das Ganze passierte am Anfang der Landebahn, diese ist jedoch ziemlich lang und dazu noch mitten im Regenwald- Juhu. Zum Glück fehlte niemandem etwas Schlimmes, bis auf den Schock und die Verzweiflung. Das war definitiv nicht das erwartete und erwünschte Ankommen auf Kuba, das Kayla sich schon lange vorgestellt hat. Da sich in dem verlorenen Teil ihres Gepäcks einige wichtige Sachen befinden, beschliest sie sich dazu diese suchen zu gehen, das kann ja nicht allzu schwer sein, einfach der Landebahn folgen. Im Flugzeug hat sie sich mit ein paar Mädchen angefreundet und manchen davon ist dasselbe passiert, also beschlossen sie gemeinsam loszuziehen. Kaylas Dad hatte heute Abend ein wichtiges Meeting und so beschlossen sie sich danach im Hotelzimmer zu treffen.
